honestly until the bit at the start of the video it hadn't crossed my mind that you could *buy* things from the black market. i dont know if ive ever even gotten there without having already killed one
Or you can just get a boomerang, lure the hedjet shopkeeper to the ladder and start leaning on the side of the block and *accidentally* dropping the boomerang multiple times, and now you have 40k or more if your good at grinding to buy equip and whup tiamat or hundun since the prices at the blackmarket are at their 1-2 prices. Great content btw. :D
I've seen this done in online, I tried to replicate it but I didn't use a boomerang and they got mad at me so what I want to know is why is it that only the boomerang works?
@Side N0te tiki men are equipped with boomerangs so if you make a tiki man throw his weapon at a shopkeeper, you wouldn't be blamed. This makes the AI engine so that if a "tiki man" were to drop a boomerang, via getting hit, the boomerang will smack the shopkeepers and they wouldn't be pissed off. So me and my 2 friends tried this strategy and it actually worked. Pretty crazy qwq.
black market items go down to the first floor price, it ends up being super good and you just gather money from the first floor onward and you should have plenty
For titles I use source sans pro black or sometimes Fira sans medium which is the font in Spelunky 2. For text on screen I think it’s called bahnschrift.

@@Pastryperson he moved the hedget to the left wall, went up the ladder up on the ledge and kept wobbling and dropping it and it didnt agro him and let him take the hedget without paying

Using spiked boots helps with the latter as it kills them with 2 stomps

A neat bit of advice!!! I usually try to wing it if I’m not going to Vlad’s, it’d be nice to have these actual strategies haha
They're all not expensive tho
They all have the same standard prices when you got to a 1-2 shop
Be careful of hired hands for the pacifist strategy, buy them and take them our first otherwise they'll attack the shopkeepers
