ASGORE/Unexpectancy part 1: The showdown the whole game has been leading up to, and the music to go along
Your Best Nightmare/Unexpectancy part 2: Absolute chaos
Finale/Unexpectancy part 3: You are the boss now
it makes sense because the bosses follow a similar pattern in how in-control the player feels. the first section is the big showdown built up to all this time, the second one is a sadistic motherfucker way more powerful than they should be, toying around with you, and the third is where you ostensibly are playing hackeysack with the boss' balls
ASGORE and Part1 also have such a similar beggining, I'm surprised not many point that out.

You've spent the entire game killing everything you've seen, at this point there is nothing that can challenge you, not the royal gaurd, not the king, not even that flower. As you wonder through the now empty underground you stumble across an area you've never noticed. A pizzaria? To your suprise, inside you find an overweight balding man screaming as he lifts a freshly cooked pizza out of a wood oven with his bare hands for some reason.

This doesn't even showcase the first attack that spawns where he grabs your Heart and pummels half your health away. It's brutal that it happens every time you try to heal.
That's from the wrong fight, the first attack in this one takes away a fifth of your health and then a tenth every time it happens after.
