Boss Rushes done right in video gaming include MegaMan X 1 in the Sigma Stages (they're built into the stages rather than being a waste of time of a room to pad out play time so they genuinely feel like last stands on the boss' part), Undertale (Asriel literally absorbed all the boss monsters so he of course has their bullet patterns, makes sense to be able to enter him and attempt to pull these wayward souls out as they fight back under his influence in a narrative standpoint.), And Pizza Tower (Peppino is naturally a nervous wreck who's worried for his business, just went through a trial and tribulation to get to the head of the Tower only to have the fucker throw every single asshole he previously beaten back at him, understandable he becomes unhinged with uncontrollable rage that allows us and Peppino to give the bosses a Euphoric Beat Down to not only the bosses we beaten but the final boss himself.)

Monster kid later mentions that undyne was very pissed off if this occurs. Theres also the fact that the longer you survive through undyne's fight, her attacks get more intense.), therefore, undyne and peppino would be a perfect fight. Mettaton: he cant be hurt but like, peppino can just grab him and throw him to the magma of hotland. Mettaton ex: peppino is so sexy that the ratings go up to 20000 immediatly, so its an instawin. But if we ignore that, peppino can stun mtt ex and then beat the crap out of him resulting on an easy win, especially since mtt loses his limbs if you shoot his heart too much. Mettaton neo: peppino w and with the P rank. Asgore: asgore is holding back so... but, assuming he isnt, then, we know from undyne that asgore is able to dodge and it took a while until undyne managed to land a hit on him. However that wouldnt matter because peppino can attack repeatly. Sans: assuming he doesnt understimate peppino, he may stand a chance, sans can teleport, he can summon blasters, bones, change gravity, and create platforms in case he needs a safe spot. A good fight, through, peppino can just grab a gaster blaster, throw it to sans, stun him, and ez win. Omega flowey: peppino may face some trouble, but the souls would betray omega flowey anyways so, yknow, omega flowey loses. Asriel: he may be unable to be defeated through violence, but peppino can beat the shit out of the bosses and still get them on his side, so idk, peppino could get pissed off, beat the shit out of the ut cast, and boom, asriel cries and reverts to his og form, peppino punches asriel dreemurr (based) and throws him to the barrier, the souls come out and the barrier is broken. Basically peppino can speedrun undertale and itd be easier.

So instead of the "You could never win to begin with" it was in Undertale, it's just trying to keep up with how Peppino just melts health bars in the finale.

the best part about this is how it doesn't even boil down to just a 'haha funni italian man OP' gag, Humans in Undertale are fuckin mad strong, and can use magic, and have enough potential to time travel and apparently erase the world. now let's look at Peppino, the man not only is impossibly fast and powerful, but literally none of the hazards in the Pizza Tower can kill him, getting forked 100 times does nothing to him, only Pizzaface and the bosses can truly beat him, but they can't KILL him, i always interpreted that if Pizzaface catches you, that he just kicks Peppino out of the level and resets his progress, because he can't kill Peppino, he just kinda kicks him out of the level as an attempt to slow him down, and the bosses just kinda kick the wind out of him and defeat him. Then comes Pizzahead, the mad and joyful overlord of the tower, he reshaped the moon with his face, and Peppino turned it into an eclipse once he fucking snapped at the boss rush. NOW take that, and apply undertale rules with him, determination and what not, the italian man's already a menace, so i can imagine this being entirely plausible.

I actually really tried to include the actual samples from the original song but found it really difficult, I've rarely ever worked with samples and just decided it would sound better without them than with poorly inserted samples.

i like how each unexpectancy phases has the song instruments taken from undertales songs in all routes (phase 1 has omega flowey type stuff, phase 2 is like genocide route and the 3rd being true pacifist sort of)
I still remember the first time i listened to this and was like "yeah this is pretty good, i like it" then i got to 7:27 and this track went on my favorites list 7:27 - 7:47 is still my favorite part of the song, it just goes so damn hard to me
This actually sounds really good, the only problem I have with this is phase 2. It sounds weird with the megalovania soundfont and using it to try to recreate the voice but becomes that, it’s really good!
For me it's like frisk having enough of going through the same routes over and over again and just decide to beat the shit out of all the final bosses and chara at the end.

Let's be realist, while Peppino in Undertale would be cool, his approach on things will mean he will het lots of LOVE, and unless he somehow can beat defeat Chara, The underworld and his pizzeria are hosed
although Peppino going on a genocide run is entirely possible, there are friendly NPCs in Pizza Tower, like the pizzas in Gnome Forest, and in older demos Peppino was able to just deliver pizzas for Gustavo, so i like to think that as long as nothing tries to kill him first (or hopefully Flowey doesn't scare him so bad he'll think all monsters are aggressive,) then maybe Peppino could try to atleast get by.

I actually really tried to include the actual samples from the original song but found it really difficult, I've rarely ever worked with samples and just decided it would sound better without them than with poorly inserted samples.
@@edgytruck completely fair, samples can be tricky and especially the ones from unexpectancy are basically the melody playing so its even more annoying to get right. i think it turned out great either way

I noticed the Tokyovania motifs used in phase 3 (most notably in near the beginning). That's a fairly interesting touch.
someone should make an undertale mod where you play as peppino in the overworld and in fights, and it plays like you're platforming so you have to climb walls to get to different rooms and in fights, you have to use peppino's moveset to evade projectiles

i like how each unexpectancy phases has the song instruments taken from undertales songs in all routes (phase 1 has omega flowey type stuff, phase 2 is like genocide route and the 3rd being true pacifist sort of)

This actually sounds really good, the only problem I have with this is phase 2. It sounds weird with the megalovania soundfont and using it to try to recreate the voice but becomes that, it’s really good!

For me it's like frisk having enough of going through the same routes over and over again and just decide to beat the shit out of all the final bosses and chara at the end.

The superior version of Unexpectancy part 1, as I find the standard version of it kinda whatever but this cover really gives new life to it. The other parts are great too, thanks for making this awesome cover, been listening to it for a while now and will probably continue to.
I don’t why the rest of them are standard. They sound better than the original. Part 3 sounds more upbeat and Part 2 made it sound more threatening.

Let's be realist, while Peppino in Undertale would be cool, his approach on things will mean he will het lots of LOVE, and unless he somehow can beat defeat Chara, The underworld and his pizzeria are hosed
although Peppino going on a genocide run is entirely possible, there are friendly NPCs in Pizza Tower, like the pizzas in Gnome Forest, and in older demos Peppino was able to just deliver pizzas for Gustavo, so i like to think that as long as nothing tries to kill him first (or hopefully Flowey doesn't scare him so bad he'll think all monsters are aggressive,) then maybe Peppino could try to atleast get by.
