    At least until very recently, for several years, this show was a regular rerun on Australian free-to-air television, in all its un-PC glory. Even Kingswood Country was still doing the rounds from time to time too.

      This has not been on free to air in Melbourne, as a series, since the 90s.
      What are you smoking?
      Australian TV and it's media has created a population of ignorant fools.

    Haha, as soon as the intro music for this sketch started I'd drop everything to watch Darryl & Wayne. Very talented actors whom give insight into where oz comedy & the 'predominant Australian thinking'🤔😅 of the day was at, in the late 80's early 90's. In my opinion the most funniest, wittiest & most refined Australian comedy to date. Nothing else comes close. Most people can understand it & enjoy it. I was able to buy the entire series of Fast Forward from ebay. It's a good cure for depression...

    This was the best episode, and it is based on a true story. Maintenance put in the wrong size screws to hold in a forward window in the cockpit. THe window flew out, and one of the pilots was indeed "sucked out" of the plane. That the guys were able to parody this is simply brilliant.

      Full Frontal was good, but something seemed to have changed if it was to be a follow on, between Fast Forward & Full Frontal. Even though one came out very shortly after the other?
      I love this comedy series.....Micheal Veitch is an incredible actor. These guys are funny ( 1m 42-44 Veitch says to "Center Myself" & Darels humming 'agreeing' lol, Cracks me up every time i hear it and see Darel knows, Wayne knows he looks like hes centering & Darel has the most intriguing expression on his face, and Wayne is trying as hard as he can, probably not looking at that bloody lol.. 'thing' hahaaaa um to not laugh, Where does the tension come from, it seems that Steve Vizard is putting everything into Making M. Veich laugh & their combined acting at 1:24 to 1:27 Is incredible. I am laughing so much i cant type.. 😂😅 Micheal seems to put a nice & unique natural spin on the various rolls he has played, he's a champion who has a great natural talent mate, had me rolling. & still does. Perhaps it takes a person with a higher iq l8ke me to see it? some of us know whats going on, hence finding reality in comedy. Your probably still ty
      rying to announciate the last sentence still. ?yep🙃 the outtakes must be hilarious, hopefully not many video cassets were thrown into a fire.. so tell me Ratzass.. crackin each other up. They must have fond memories from that era..😎

    The funny thing about this is nothing has changed. People are still gay still talk like this still gravitate to certain jobs still do things back in the 80s-90s that were considered “not normal” then The only difference is TODAY we are supposed to accept every absurdity as being NORMAL are heaven forbid if you see humour in this we are told we are being insensitive and might hurt their feelings. The P C world we are forced to live in is humourless and all about people’s “feelings”. The world is doomed

    Reading the comments on so many of these videos, I have to wonder why conservatives get off so much on imagining liberals taking offense? Liberals are often the people who tend to make this kind of satire. Because unlike conservatives we are able to laugh at ourselves. Fantasizing about the past as a golden era for your own prejudice is inaccurate enough, why do you need to project on creative people that they would have agreed with you.

    • @jonathankieranwriter
      @jonathankieranwriter 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      marshhen ... Yeah, you can act in comedies and write comedies UNTIL someone in the groupthink-tank TELLS YOU that the very kind of comedy you used to perform and/or enjoy is NOW (and henceforth) “triggering” or “politically incorrect,” and then you switch to “lecturing-style comedy,” which is weak as water and witless as worms. That’s what preachy Leftism does to humor-it cuts the soul and lifeblood out of comedy. These skits could NOT be made today and you know it.
