I was actually listening to Roy’s tunes before I knew of Roy Cousins, my Dad was a fan of the late great I-Roy who rode some of Roy’s riddims, I was just a little boy back then. When I reached 16 I started to buy tunes of which I was buying tunes by The Royals, The Royals are a major part of my growing up, Roy doesn’t get the credit he truly deserves, hopefully these interviews will help put that right. Nuff love & respect to Roy Cousins & Prince Hammer.

Good info, this again confirms that many tunes recorded probably were never released and that’s a shame. Luckily Roy decided to re-record some tunes for his own label.

There was an episode of " the mod squad" where a gang called black uhuru" was part of the storyline, that's the first time I heard that name .
