- The Taylor 314ce is an attainable working musician's guitar that has always focused on essentials over frills. This new special edition Taylor 314ce add solid east Indian rosewood back and sides to the recipe to improve upon what is already a huge value in American made acoustic guitars. The rosewood body, paired with the sitka spruce top adds sustain, bass and more overtones compared to the sapele wood version.

Dude!!! Fingerstyle on that thing you can hear all of the Taylor magic....so great!!! Thank you Mr. Greenberg!
Cooper I love how you pick and finger pick the guitar! wish you could take a few min to show us ha! love the sound of this Taylor!
You guys keep making this Martin fan one step closer to purchasing a Taylor one of these days ahah!
Love your feeds guys, lots of awesomeness 🤙
Chris and Cooper, another great video. That 314ce looks and sounds great.
So cool, really dig all the great guitars from Taylor
Great job, Mr. Greenberg! Fantastic guitar technics perfectly applied! (Of course you need a perfect guitar for that as a terrific Taylor!). Cheers!
WOW WOW 7:44 is crazy ! never seen something like that
Tested out a bunch of acoustic guitars today at my local store, Maton's, Gibsons, laverree, Cole Clark's and this Taylor was the stand out.
Nice sound, but really prefer my 322. Cooper’s playing would make a 10 dollar plastic guitar sound great .
Big fan of the channel been watching for a long time and let you guys know you do a great job. I am going to continue to watch religiously
Cooper, are ya tryin' to bring back the 70s? LOL! I love it! Long sideburns with a 'stache. My Dad kept his well into the 80s.
Rockin the spurs merch! Wemby is doing well 👍 too.
Haha 4:48 that sneeze and silent pause was hilarious 😂
Walked into the local music store today to test out and possibly buy the 814ce Builders, but ended up walking out with this instead. I honestly thought it sounded better than the 814.
Bless you
I'll never get rid of my spruce/sapele 314ce. It's perfect for me. I dig this rosewood offering, but why did they go so dark with the rosewood? Is it stained dark? I mean half the draw of rosewood in addition to the sound, is the beautiful grain and color.
Cooper wants mahogany? Can’t go past the Guild OM-140ce. A beautifully built and sounding guitar.
We need a Tutorial!
If it is Andy powers the one doing this, he is going to Foock the exclusivity of the series in this company. And Ian a Taylor lover, I have 6 of them.
Well of course Taylor is doing a "special, limited" series. They are environmentally concerned and don't give a hoot about tradition or consistency. Some people like this.
This guitar sounds good...
If it weren’t for the pickup I would buy it.
I find the 414 to be excessively bright. I don't know if is just he playing style or the video but this sounds more like an 814 which I like the sound of better.
Can you please tell me what your signal chain is for recording your acoustics?
We run a warm audio 47jr through a radial direct box into an apogee ensemble into a Mac Mini M1. - Chris
Thanks!@@AlamoMusic
Please Chris! Let us see your eyes.😊
Just curious why you guys never review or compare Collings guitars?
We are big fans of Collings but we aren’t currently dealers, though we would like to be. That limits our access to do reviews of their current models of guitars.
Cooper, give me lessons??
Your site shows $2499 for this guitar. I could be interested in this guitar. Can anyone tell what the fretboard radii is? Please - don't just guess! 😊.
Mine is 15 inches. Specs are on line, I believe.
Taylor used a 15” fretboard radius on their acoustics. - Chris
@@AlamoMusic Thanks. 👍
Not even on Taylor's website yet.
I found it at Alamo Music $2499, only $50 more than the 314ce tobacco sunburst with sapele back & sides. If I was in the market for another guitar (Dad! You don't need another one! -My grown children say... Happy to have an Academy 12 with mahogany neck made on Dad's 90th birthday, and ordered from GC Austin's used inventory the night Mom passed on, a year before Dad.) Taylor had those discussions this decade and earlier about whether they should sell direct to consumer, or keep sales to dealers. Back then it was nearly unanimous to support local music stores... Alamo Music has the best video on the ES2 amplification system!
I think next we get super special and super extra special after that... that'd be 5,000 dollars thank you very much suckers, come again when we come up with super special extra deluxe
It’s deluxe, elite, ultra, ultra luxe then limited edition artist numbered series special ultra run. - Chris
Most people who are thinking about buying one of these will want to play it on stage, so why would you not include a plugged-in demo in your review?
Tough guy over here.
These guys don't seem to like Taylor guitars as much as they used to. They're always just kind of dogging them now.
Cooper, you're a handsome dude. Go back to your old look. This current thing you got goin on is just a little too NASCAR for me.
This ain’t no beauty channel
O Luke so nice of you to notice, thank you for the compliment! What’s wrong with nascar?
I think he is married.
@@AlamoMusic I think you're both beautiful
@2shoestoo I didn't say anything is wrong with NASCAR, you big silly goose!
LOL kidding aside... it's like salt. Salt is great! I love salt. It enhances the flavor of just about anything, but you can have too much of it.
