I love the clips in this videos, although I think the title of the video should be "Marcy's single PHASE." She was only single for the last half of season four and the first half of season 5. I really felt sorry for her during this phase due to it being pretty clear that her only support is the Bundys.
In the end, the show producers knew they couldn't have Marcy remain an unmarried divorcee. Which is why her singlehood was so short in terms of the show's run.
This section appears to be where we get most of our quips between Marcy and Bud because she was single. One thing that Married with Children got to do in the years that followed that I think is cool is that both of her husbands got to canonically interact with one another. A good number of replacement characters never get to interact with who they replaced for obvious reasons.

I love these skits they are so funny. Marcy is pretty, but why did they dress her so frumpy? Her clothes were terrible, even during the 80s, those would have been awful clothes. Peg's hair was a mess, but her clothes were cute.
