    Reallly great review, that fixed my decision for this tent. I had some concerns about condensation problems, but if you coud use it in wintertime in Canada, I will have no problems for a 3 season use here in Germany. Happy to have this review with metric data. These Inches and lbs makes me mad.

    An excellent review and presentation! You've conveyed a wealth of information in a very systematic and clear way. You are a natural educator! Before I watched this video, I was considering the UL Obsidian Featherstone Lightweight Backpacking Tent as it sells for about $105 US, although that tent has a rain fly, but no footprint.

    Excellent video and magnificent landscape! Is the fact that there is only one wall a disadvantage for spending the night, i.e. does the cold or, in your case, heavy rain filter in more? Thank you very much and greetings from Mexico.

    Great tent Jeremy!. Thanks, appreciate all of these lightweight tent options videos. Really like the design, well thought out. That's awesome that it comes with the footprint. That's aggravating with most tents, having to buy the footprint separate. The price isn't bad at all. That's nice too that you can get one with snow skirts for the winter also. Hope it comes in green.👍👍🏕

      Thank you, single wall tents are great at saving weight, double wall tents generally handle condensation better due to a mesh inner separation

    Single wall tents dont work for me. Drenched sleeping bag every night. Unlike lanshan 2 that with certain creativity could be used in any conditions, this one ended up needing a bivy bag to save my sleeping bag from condensation drops from ceiling. I strongly believe the only use for a single walled is a membrane tent for multisport or summiting, but for backpacking nah, thanks.

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping
      @Lonewolfwildcamping  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It works great for me, but I typically use it in windy areas or in winter

    • @mezmerya5130
      @mezmerya5130 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Lonewolfwildcamping in winter this is even worse for me. My breething condensation freezes and falls right back on me with one huge plaster of ice in the morning as soon as i slighly move. Even when it's not winter, morning comes and morning dew sets not on tent, by on my sleeping bag, because dew point works on temp difference. It's already bad enough with most double walled tents that have any amount of mesh in the top area, and surpsingly managable with fabric inners, like 3f ul lanshan 4 season inner tent or 3f ul floating cloud 2 fabric inner. I do not have extensive use of this tent, maybe i dont get the way how to use it, but in winter i pick naturehike cloud peak 2 over this despite any weight difference.

      @thankmelater1254 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mezmerya5130 I'm a newb in tenting, and I was thinking opposite from what you are relating here. Looking at the Lanshans I was going to go for the 3 season over the 4 season specifically because I imagined the mesh inner on the 3 season would be better to reduce condensation because of "breathe-ability". Your experience however, is that the 4 season fabric inner works better to reduce condensation, which is opposite of my imagined scenarios. Do you think that the issue is less about breathe-ability, and more about temperature differentials...thus the fabric inner reduces temp differential more and so reduces condensation more?

    • @mezmerya5130
      @mezmerya5130 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@thankmelater1254 You dont get it. it doesnt' reduce condesation. It cancels drafts and doesnt allow condensation to drop right inside the tent, or ice to fall right on top of you when it's cold. I use fabric inners only for sub-zero temps, 3f ul sells them separately.
