No, airplanes have seatbelts. Not to save your life, but to assist the NTSB in indentifying your corpse. The airlines even spring for a headstone "Occupant: 21C", unless you got the catastrophic involuntary cremation package.
Why aren't there more three wheeled vehicles? I've always had a soft spot for these daring prototypes, I want to build one myself one day.

That's actually wild and weird enough that I wouldn't mind driving that at all.
Yes it is interesting, and appealing, but $55,000? In 2015 the Elio arrives and its cost is announced to be $6,800. And the Elio has a roof, windows and three air bags. Nevertheless this "car" does go 30 MPH faster than the Elio (130 MPH vs 100 MPH). And the Campagna also does 0-60 in 4 sec compared to 9 seconds for the Elio. But the Campagna is listed as $58,000 base price on their website. That's over 8x the price. And the Elio makes almost triple the gas mileage. You can see what I'm interested in getting.
Never going to happen. Especially at that price.
Expensive AF for a recreational vehicle.

Sorta reminds me of this three wheeled green thing Richard Hammond drove in an episode of Top Gear. It was running on a smaller motor though I think. Still a motor cycle power plant. I think he called it a morgan? I don't recall.

Pleez.. a "flip up" bubble top enclosure.. a-la Ed Roth. The thing would be absolutely ace with one.. That engine sounds wonderful too.. much better for a car than bike though..

And we are here, jealous... rs... Just kidding...What a wonderful vehicle! In my opinion they just needed to have shown a hood, in case it rains... And it is safe, as long as your know how to step on the gas. Would love to have one!

The V-Rod is now discontinued by Harley...is that the end of this model? Jay you would be the only one who could know the difference between the many different three wheel motorcycles but as someone who worked hard for the money...are any of the others any better than the much cheaper priced Vanderhall?

i love trikes and all, but this machine would have made more sense with 4 wheels, you sacrifice boot space, traction and a proper drive shaft for a few pounds saved and different looks

If its a stock V-ROD engine, then it has no reverse gear right? It's the same shift pattern as any motorcycle, 1 down, 5 up.

It brakes well thanks to the willwood brakes and it does not skid to a stop nor does the steering wheel shake while stopping, so it brakes as well as it stops.
Man how cool this would be if they didn't fit such a FUCKED UP chassis on it, the front looks like a sick yellow frog, and I can't believe it comes from the same place as the T-Rex

Mr Leno just out of curiocity what kind of watch is that on your wrist? I read in a magazine about one of your watches a Seyko that was featured for it's resistance, and fine quality.

i love this show, it has something you dont see these days, its got honesty and real life to it. it isnt scripted or planned
Love it, but there are some practicality issues that keep it from being anything other than a weekend toy. First, the seats need to be waterproof. Second, there needs to be more than 90 liters of storage from the two side cases. (Why couldn't they have created space across the rear for a luggage rack . Plus the "wine and cheese" storage could've been deeper to house proper rain suits and such.) Third, there needs to be a tonneau cover to keep strangers out while you're parked. Frustrating.

Why not put a Suzuki Hayabusa motor in something like this? The Hayabusa motor has more power more torque and is more reliable.💯👊🏽😎💯
they should have the option to go with a Vmax motor around 175hp
Forget the horsepower-- with rides like this the TORQUE is the true telling factor!
You can probably find a used GTR for the same price.. and you will be able to use it as a daily driver. The idea is great IMO but unfortunately they should have built these with cost in mind. Harley davidson engine and fiberglass? Was it absolutely necessary? This thing should cost $25k max.

classic Harley engine. Makes ALOT of noise and doesn't produce any speed.

THIS is the follow up to the T-Rex? I hope not. I'm JUST finding out about this and I'm rather disappointed with this design. I guess my little saying is true. If it's American and not a sports car or super car, it's going to look like trash for the most part.

In Pennsylvania to obtain a 3 wheeler license you have to take the motorcycle test on a motorcycle not a 3 wheeler or a trike.Right now there is no trike or three wheeler license.So why buy one.
As far as lightweight, three-wheeled vehicles go... I've seen better. There is a definite cheaper quality about it. Look at that terrible interior, so bland... They didn't bother to break up the monotony with different textures or anything. It's a very bare-bones trike with little personality.

When is someone going to make a trike with a roof for poor people . Where I live a car costs around ten grand but a bike cost 1000 pounds - wheres the inbetween machine ? Car front end and a bike back end .

I have a photo of a driving one the toll road in IL. It was silver and had no GIVI trunk bags on the side. Apparently, the trunk latch was broken, as the driver was holding it closed with his hand.
There so expensive because they buy motorcycles and use what they need then try and sell the rest Campagna should work with brp and use the 900 turbo rr 200 hp and the 1000 turbo 130hp and use there dealer network
He said lets take in on the highway, he pulled along side a tractor trailer, then the video switched back to surface streets, I guess he was afraid of getting squished, it looks like a lot of fun on twisty roads, just stay away from big trucks.
I had one of those coming at me doing about 90 mph on main street the other day , I didn’t even know it was there until it was about ten or 15 yards in front of me in the other lane , I was driving a 4 door carola that would have driven right over the top of it ? Like I said it was daylight and he was there and gone I never saw him , they are just so low to the ground , had I or anyone else had to make a left turn ? And there was two men in it and they weren’t kids ! Just a dangerous toy , I’m guessing that truck never saw J when he passed ?
Looks like Campagna had to make a newer design probably due to Tanom Invader copying their older designs lmao..... ._.
They should lose the "wine and cheese boxes", and integrate some hidden "training wheels" for this bad boy you can corner harder.
You wouldn't survive driving that anywhere in Montreal. The horrible roads and pot holes will swallow you up if the drivers don't crash into you first.
