Great demo and documentation of results!! I’m learning a lot about these variators. New to the game.

WOW! I would say that is some GOOD results! And only a 250ish RPM impact at 70 MPH to boot! WIN-WIN !!!

Hello, can I use your video in my channel as a example of shifting rpm in scooter clutch. Thanks.

Nice to see you got some more CCs under your butt😊 I'm still playing with my 172cc big bore kit scoot, notice from 3/4 to full throttle if I'm cruising at 3/4 throttle and I blip the throttle to full and back and forth quick snaps from three quarter to full,I definitely here engine response but I don't really feel it , what do you think about that? is it slippage, or just the end of the power or?? (again, I can hear engine increase but I don't really feel it at that point...

If it revs and you get nothing, then it could be slip. Try checking out the CVT to see if there are signs of it.

Awsome content, I have been playing with rollers in my bikes, I went from 16.5g to 12.5 in my 150 with the new amazon variator and it was faster in accleration and top speed, also, does the size of the roller matter? I see 18x14 16x13, does it matter what size I put in my stock variator? TY for your great content

Yes, size matters. lol Use the proper rollers for your variator. Sometimes aftermarket stuff will use different sized rollers, but that is usually noted or they include rollers that you can measure before getting more for tuning.

do you believe the quicker time is because of the weight?or possibly the fact that you switched from rollers to sliders? just curious

      Probably a combination of both.

Is top speed the same with sliders?

I am curious about that too. What is the top speed difference?

It's a Garmin ball mount and then I got an adapter for Garmin to GoPro. The idea for that cross bar is from TwoWheelsTurning. Mine's 1/8" thick x 1" wide steel flat bar. It uses longer bolts and a couple of spacers and fastens to 2 of the spots where the handlebar cover is secured to the bars. Pretty simple, but very useful. I use it for my GPS as well.
