The part that Richard left out, is that the audience didn't just know the lyrics of the song by heart, but also Richard's speech, and as he was saying it, almost the entire audience was chanting it back to him as if he was part of the band. Everybody loved it!
That performance is easily my favorite performance of "greatest show on earth", many prefer the Tampere version, which is awesome in its own right, but having the man himself on stage doing the narration? priceless!! (i love the fireworks ending at Tampere, but having the man himself on stage? that's a whole different kind of fireworks to me! ;) )
Amazing moment in Nightwish history having Richard Dawkins join them in London. I have read many of Richard´s books over the years. I love that he stands up for science against organized religions. With the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful, Tuomas Holopainen composed some amazing and universal songs which will stand the test of time. Really looking forward to the next album in 2024.

I'm the kind of person who has been reading both science fiction and fantasy since I was nine years old. I was probably a little nuts when I first watched the version with Richard Dawking. The greatest moment of my life, even though I wasn't there myself. Just thinking about this makes me float with happiness. music and science in one package ❤️ it can't be better.

Go spend a month in the Southern USA and say that again. There's still very much a religious war being fought there, and the bible thumpers are currently winning.

It’s amazing how Mr.Dawkins is now touring as the lead singer of a Christian emo-rock band. Praise Jesus, miracles truly do happen.
