That little Philly is so cute, a lot of energy! So sad that they had to surrender her, but glad she ended up at Ima Surviver!!!❤❤❤ My mother in law survived losing the lost of her husband and then later, three of her four adult children. She also was the lone survivor of her four siblings, she died at the age of 95!

I would stick to watering the pasture that Tex is in for now. Get enough moisture in that area for now so Tex will have something to eat. That's going to take a lot of water itself. Maybe by then you'll get enough rain to get grass to grow on the new pasture.
That horse is a beautiful. Just stunning! And from what little I know about horses..( my grandfather raised horses), I’m guessing she isn’t an inexpensive horse. She looks pricey! And it’s easy to see she’s well lived and probably trained. That’s a very happy horse. The hurricane thing with repairs and animals waiting and now 6 years later the same thing. Seems like it was showing you how blessed you are and how blessed animals are and need for the sanctuary and LHL to save them.

Jami needs ear defenders for feeding those babies. I’m so sad for the family that had to give up their horse but my goodness they picked the right people to look after her ❤ Ask Rick what she is. I think the fact that you cannot suppress your emotions now is due to the PTSD you have from the Hurricane Harvey situation, I am of the firm belief that withholding your emotions in causes more stress and I firmly believe that the upset and stress I went through 20 years ago led to my cancer as did it my sister and mother for varying reasons. Each of us underwent an extremely stressful situation prior to us developing cancer. It may not be the case but it’s what I and my sister believe happened to us.
Horse NAME: Jasmine or Lily 🙂 Oh that poor family, that would be so hard to have to give up an animal. Looks like a buckskin to me. Take her to LHL, horses are herd animals and she would love having other horses to be around.

I had gotten a puppy from San Felipe that friends brought back to CA. The dog did not know English so I learned Spanish words for sit, stay etc and she knew what we were saying. She was our bilingual dog. Loved her for 14yrs.
Lester and Jamie, look into her being a Bay Roan. The Bay is dark legs, mane and tail and the rest of her is Roan. She is gorgeous!! I think she has some Arabian in her looking at her ears.
