Conquest really need to stop counting tickets when a point is being contested. I have like1/4 of my games end this way and its ridiculous. Especially since as far as i can tell theres no display that tells you how long the point is going to take to capture. Really is super anticlimactic to have someone making a last stabd that they are losing on the point and still win because the game decides they stood there long enough. Either stop the count for co tested points or just double the tickets you need to win. While its great to have a tool to stop abuse, having it limit the strategies that are viableto play is sad especially since some of the more dynamic play takes patience to pull off and 1 unbreakable unit just makes that totally unviable if fighting dwarfs for example
It's literally a count-down (okay, count up technically). 1 ticket per capture point per second. I think it actually makes more strategies viable instead of less.
@temushin i think you misunderdtood what i was saying about the display. It does not tell you how long it will take to capture the point. If you need 7.5 minutes to route an army, but they have 1 slayer left, there is no way that you should still lose that game because the slayer is keeping you from capping the point faster. If you dont stop the contested point from continuing to gain tickets, you gotta raise the number of tickets to be longer than the average game. This is meant to be a battle simulation, and at least for me winning the battle takes precedence over getting points counting up in a game. 500 tickets is super limiting if you keep the countdown happening when a point is being contested. Just ends the battle too early ina bunch of cases and feels gamey rather than immersive to me.
@@shetlandapache949 Yeah far as I'm aware the mp community's very split on this. Because the nature of conquest mode means that the most degen strats like corner and forest camping are dealt with very reliably, but at the same time conquest gives more leeway to other strats like spell kiting since there will be no attacking rules in a Conquest battle. So while the current ticket limit of 500 presents the same problems you've noticed, the fear is that increasing the ticket total will also strengthen players who want to spell kite. It's a hard line to tightrope unfortunately.
@@TequilaSunsetVids yeah thats why i would rather the count just stops while you are contesting a point rather than increasing the tickets, i dont think that would make it easier to spellkite, cause they would still have to have a unit on the point to stop the count
high elves are one of the best beastmen counters. same as woodelves being one of the best skaven counters.
bit rate and resolution is way to low bro, it looks like a blurry mess in battle, but the text on the unit info panel seems fine?!?!
Yeah I have no clue what the issue is there. I'm not seeing it come up on my other videos.
