- Today I discuss my opinion on the UPSL!
The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 400-plus teams targeted for 2019 Fall Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.

I love UPSL soccer! There are three UPSL sides in Kansas City: Santa Fe Wanderers (which is the UPSL team I support), Quinto Elemento, and Barilleros. Hopefully there will be more local sides joining us in the spring.
UPSL is much more entertaining and much cheaper to attend than MLS, in my honest opinion. Also, it is the only national league that features some form of promotion and relegation (I am very much #ProRelForUSA).

JodabeniTV I got in to a 6 week trial but they decided not to take me because i was not the person they were looking for but I have a trial game for southsmpton soon

Made my local upsl team that is about an 1 and 7 minutes from my house. I trained with them yesterday and making my debut this Saturday 👀 stay tuned for some content

Im going to be committing to a college team very soon and I think what I may want to do is go my four years in college and develop my skills further, and then by my senior year begin to set my sights on getting only a UPSL team

What's attendance like in your division? It varies greatly in the midwest conference east division. Anywhere from close to 1000 in Muskegon to around 500 at Oakland County, though most teams draw less than a hundred a game.
Our games here in Houston Definitely draw less than 100 people for sure!

Yes, When I played with Houston FC, there was a team called Athletico Katy and I believe they had two players that were in their forties. It all comes down to whether you can produce fruit or not.

It all depends on the team and your skills.Some teams charge and some don't. but most you'll have to pay a small amount or they'll pay you.

mmm just depends on which teams youre on. But UPSL overall has grown men vs mls next where there is young players.

iQuickest I mean I pay 34$ just for register fee that’s about it. The rest is on the coach pocket.

What is your opinion on the NPSL or is it the same as your UPSL opinion?
For me (I am a bit of an American soccer nut) I would say the NPSL is a better than UPSL, however both are very good.
It all comes down to what team you're playing on , on either leagues. there are teams that will help you improve and then there are those that will wont bring you the quality and environment to improve.
Do college scouts watch the upsl games?

Note: Galaxy just bought a franchise in the UPSL southern championship division (western conference)

Depending on where you live dictates the level. A lot of NPSL and UPSL are better than PDL teams. I live in the Bay Area NorCal by the way so you get and ideas of what teams I see and played against
