YUP,,,or take it apart again, replace the carb or something, waste more time and NOT get that money back!! lol Thanx fer stopping in,,,good ta hear from Ya!!
I just worked on a GX 140 on a greens roller. The carb was so clogged I couldn't get it to flow with fuel. That little carb bowl even after a hour in ultrasonic. So when I put a new carb on...the old cover wouldn't fit.. So had to buy a new cover. Then it worked. New gaskets too. But it ran and the bowling club was able to roll the greens.
Yea,, I have a video soon to be released that talks about aftermarket carbs and in this case its a Honda carb knockoff. The have to change them a bit to avoid patent issues. Glad ya got it sorted,,,,thanks for watchng!
@@TheNovaJohn I heard that young man I just got a sthil FS 76 straight shaft weed eater running now to see if the person who owns it is willing to sell it to me
I have one too, I need to do a primer bulb on it, I took some footage of it when I 1st got it from the junkie, it was a mess. Runs great! I want to grab some of that old footage which isn't that good but weave it into the bulb replacement and make a video because its a really nice machine, a bit beat up but such a nice machine!
Yea,, I often have a very dry humor, I used to watch a lot of Monty Python and other British or even Canadian shows as a kid! The trick is to make one think, think about who knows what, doesn't matter,,just think! Or React!
Arch Honda fuel lines are very specific for their engines. Don't they?. I used some of that Coronary fuel line.....I just was working on on a mower of mine. That I put Coronary fuel line on....I don't think its for fuel brittle and stiff in 3 months
They had changed these lines at some point. The older ones were smaller and gray I believe, the new ones are larger and black. The inside diameter may be different. They can get brittle and often I say to be gentle with them. Did you get replacement Honda Lines or some knockoff?
Nope,, doesn't get a hole like I mentioned, it would have a brass insert as a plastic hole that small wouldn't hold shape when hot. It has an idle screw that's pre-set and often very hard to get to. Ya gotta cut the stops off. It will probably clear up, runs good under load, idle is optional anyway, he's a landscaper, gonna spend its time buried in the dirt, not idling. Not to mention I already spent too much time, Ya cant make luv to these machines, ya wont get paid for it! They will just buy a new one if ya charge to much and unlikely get another job from them. He's quite happy and says it runs well making him money!
Yo yo .. it runs good under load.. leave it as is.. good to see ya mate

Robert Mailhos Now you know - the time to buy it is BEFORE you work on it, when it looks its worst! 😉
Thanks Arch...how much oil goes on sump? Manuel doesn't say
I’m hoping (and pretty sure) that your comment about the small, elevated “3” after a spec number was in jest!

Arch why not do it right let it idle the way The manufacturer made it I think the low idle jet that you said doesn’t have a whole has to have a hole
