I'd love to do this kind of work and life. Who needs modern high technology. Silicon chips don't taste good, no matter how much dip and salsa you put on it.
Question for anyone: I have zero experience with horses or mules and have an old 50 acre farm that was active from 1820 to about 1930 in Pennsylvania. How or where can I learn to farm with horses or mules? I am not looking to make money doing it, only as a hobby. I have an undying love for american history and would love to gain the skills and knowledge people had so long ago.
Remember grandpa talking about this. Threshing when it’s hot and picking corn by hand. They worked hard.
That "bang board" is much higher than Grandpa Hanks. Great music.

How close to Amish country? Think there's an annual horse-drawn equipment field day at Kinsers, PA.
