Wow! This song is soo f***ing awesome. Once the song starts it take over me and I fall into a deep relaxation and I just close my eyes and I imagine a kaleidoscope in my mind. The kaleidoscope is made of vibrant, saturated, geometrical shapes twirling and spinning. Like as if I was on an acid trip. Which I haven't tried acid. But its such a gorgeous soothing song. :)
This is a realy good song, but 3:34 to 4:02 is just incredible; truly one of the best pieces of music I have ever heard. Every word and chord in that segment lands so perfectly it's insane.
This is the sort of modern music that you find when you go "deep". At the surface you'll find what naive people say is the height of modern music like Katy Perry and Justin Bieber but just ignore them and dig a little deeper. You'll find bands that aren't literally household names and you'll find that music is actually just as good as it's ever been. Maybe the most popular music from back then is better than the most popular music now but you'd be mad to say that indie music hasn't gotten way better, the state of music has turned on its head in the past two or three decades, it hasn't gotten worse.
Listened to this song, and when the very guitar in the background and the chorus started, I proceeded to bawl my eyes out. It made me think about all the good things in my life and how they all come to an end (my Oma is getting very old).

Many years of being a fan... I'm talking since The Jakes. And this is their best song. The meaning, (which can be so adaptive to many situations), the raw emotion, the poetry... Sameer's perfect voice, able to capture pain and beauty at the same time. Timeless classic.
