Thank you sooo much for your channel. I love reading fiction books for fun but there are alot that I’m not comfortable with (there’s so much witchcraft and lust). I love the word of God however Im really looking for fiction novels I can enjoy as a form of entertainment w/o compromising. I’m so grateful for your channel it’s literally an answer to prayer. Excited to check out some of these books!
I'd probably say that Lineage of Grace by Francine Rivers (especially Rahab's story) really encouraged me. It really showed me what can happen if you trust God, even if you don't know what's going to happen.
I haven’t gotten around to reading them yet as I have a long TBR list, but I purchased Autumn By The Sea and The Roads We Follow based on your recommendations. I may have to bump them up to the top of my list. TYSM.
Thank you for making this video. I loved the book “Love and a little white lie.” I really should read the next installment in the series. I also loved “What matters most” by Courtney Walsh.
I loved this list! Definitely added some to my TBR, waiting for the fall season to read Autumn By the Sea 😍 It’s funny how this video comes at a time when I’m feeling discouraged so thank you for this! Your videos are always a blessing ❤
I have to go Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. It was an interesting to see all the family struggle as all the relationships breakdown and the light at the end....well, not for the named character.
I read “This Present Darkness” when it was first released. It really sparked a passion for Christian fiction. I have read ever book Frank Peretti has written. Ted Dekker is my second favorite writer. I’ve read all of his as well. I will have to admit that I have never read a romance book of any kind. I guess I need to try one.
The Angels Walking series by Karen Kingsbury really encouraged my faith. It showed situations where God/heaven/angels intercede on behalf of the characters in so many ways and the same can happen in your life. Amazing.
I have read almost all of these books and I love Christian fiction for the same reason!!! I love Biblical fiction books like the Gods and Kings series by Lynn Austin. I love feeling like I’m in the Bible story. Tessa Afshar is another favorite author for these kinds of books.
I am so glad you mentioned the charles Martin books. I love all of his books but started with water keeper and actually learned so much about sex trafficking through those.
That's funny. I went to college to teach, but I'm not a teacher and God led me elsewhere. I need to read Tammy L. Gray because I haven't picked up any of her books yet.
This present darkest for sure! 3 Others would be Criss Cross -CC Warrens Her Darkest Secrets-Jessica Patch A Atonement Child by Francine Rives All the It Takes Nicole Deese. I know more than one🤦♀️ it’s hard!…now to go see everyone else’s! 🏃♀️
I have an author that writes amazing Christian romance that definitely encourages my faith and that is Mandi Blake! I have read her two recent books Love In The Storm and Love For A Lifetime and she just writes such great characters that are flawed but always trust in God and lean on him when going through problems and the guys in those books were police officers and just the best! I will forever read anything she writes which includes a long back list of book! Also you ask if it’s possible to have a guy who talks about their feelings and I’m here to tell you there is! My husband is that guy and a Christian and he actually brought me back to God when I wasn’t following him at all at the time, I was Christian who was lost but God was still there watching out for me and bringing me the man he knew I needed! So yes there are men like that out there and I will be praying that God will bring you the man that is meant for you! 🩷🩷🩷🩷
I know, it's so expensive everywhere!! But I see it in thrift stores all the time! Also if you have a Christian bookstore near you, they might have it! If they have a bargain section, it might be there too
@OceanaGottaReadEmAll I know it's been sold out on Indigo and Amazon for a while, but ya maybe a christian bookstore would have it or thrift shop! There aren't many of christian bookstores nearby lol...Canada's gotta step it up lol 😅😅
I ask this with the kindest curiosity but Are You Canadian?! The more I listen to you talk the more I think you might be. Okay I was browsing your channel and saw “Book Shop With Me In Alberta.” And I answered my own question.
@@OceanaGottaReadEmAll I hope I didn’t offend you by asking. I wasn’t making fun of the way you talk or anything. Even though I am from the USA I have just spent my fair share of time watching Canadian Television and have picked up Canadian accents. ❤️
I'm halfway thru Hello Stranger by Katherine Center. Quick content warning: Some language including 1 F word One odd scene: overhearing a cell phone conversation in an elevator about a one night stand. The guy describes the woman in a gross, body-shaming way. I think this is going to come into play later on, but it's just weird now. Anyway, 3.5 out of 5 so far. 📚 Also this: 😆🇨🇦 "I'll have your replacement before you can eat a beaver tail" "Nice Canada reference" "You're welcome" (Possibly offensive to Canadians and small woodland creatures) 😉
For me Redeeming Love does it everytime. It's just a picture of pure Grace.😎📚
I'm currently reading this book!

Love this video idea ❤❤❤I need to try this one time!
You should!!!❤️
I love that God is always pursuing us and doesn't give up. Thanks for sharing!
I love what you had to say about Autumn by the Sea ❤️ it's on my TBR
I'd probably say that Lineage of Grace by Francine Rivers (especially Rahab's story) really encouraged me. It really showed me what can happen if you trust God, even if you don't know what's going to happen.
I love that! :) thank you for sharing!
I totally agree with The Roads We Follow. Such a great book and all the relationships and developments were so inspiring and faith based. Loved it!!!
I'm really gonna try to read This Present Darkness this year
I keep hearing Charles Martin is so good! Need to get into his Water Keeper Series.
Thank you so much for this!!!❤ Subscribed and watching earlier vids❤❤❤

When crickets cry and chasing fireflies by Martin are great books too

Love this! I agree with you about Christian romance books
The Timeless series, all 3 books, have definitely encouraged my faith but in different ways
Beautiful video idea!! ❤❤
This Present Darkness was a GREAT read! I also read Piercing the Darkness.
Short and impactful😊thanks for sharing.
I have to go Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. It was an interesting to see all the family struggle as all the relationships breakdown and the light at the end....well, not for the named character.

Yesss seeing God in Christian fiction is why we read it 💯
I loved book 2 Love and the Silver Lining. My fave in the series.
The Angels Walking series by Karen Kingsbury really encouraged my faith. It showed situations where God/heaven/angels intercede on behalf of the characters in so many ways and the same can happen in your life. Amazing.
love that!
I have yet to try Charles Martin, but I really want to.😊

I love This Present Darkness.
Becky Wades books encourage my faith. The Misty River series.
I felt the same when I read This Present Darkness! It changed my mind about spiritual warfare. ❤
I love how christian fiction can impact our christian walk. This is why I prefer to read it over secular fiction.
That's funny. I went to college to teach, but I'm not a teacher and God led me elsewhere. I need to read Tammy L. Gray because I haven't picked up any of her books yet.
This present darkest for sure!
3 Others would be
Criss Cross -CC Warrens
Her Darkest Secrets-Jessica Patch
A Atonement Child by Francine Rives
All the It Takes Nicole Deese.
I know more than one🤦♀️ it’s hard!…now to go see everyone else’s! 🏃♀️
