Thanks for this. I really enjoyed your video. I run a theology group in the UK and we were recently talking about TS Eliot's Journey of the Magi which includes a reference to a white horse galloping away. Chesterton's book makes complete sense of this!
You mentioned you were reading Paradise Lost. I started it a while back and couldn't get into it until the Hardcore Literature group mentioned reading along with the audio book. I LOVE IT! My favorite book of 2024 and I read 60.
@@lisacannon9229 I am reading along with the audio book. It does help! My son read Paradise Lost last month and he asked me to read it too so we are having discussions. But I am only in Book 2 so far.
Last year was not a good bookish year to me. I hope to rectify that this year. At the end of the year I read the Chronicles of Narnia, which are in my view very theological. I’ve just finished The Last Battle. I am now reading The Problem of Pain very slowly. I hope to participate in the club this year.
@@knittingbooksetc.2810 i really wanted to finish reading The Chronicles of Narnia last year but never had time. Over the years I have read all but the last three (in the timeline of the story not publication order) so I still need to read The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, and The Last Battle. But then I thought since it has been so long since I read any of them I really need to start over again!

Ooh! We just went to Turkey, Greece, and Rome on a 3week Footsteps of Paul tour. Good suggestions! The epistles have come alive! And Acts and Revelation. Went to the cities of the 7 churches. Thanks Faith!

I just came across your channel and subscribed. I had no idea there was a Catholic Theology Book Club online, but I signed up right away. I’m not at all familiar with the Discord app, but I downloaded it and hopefully accepted the invite to the book club hoping I did it correctly. When does the book club begin? Thank you. @@craftoncue it is actually ecumenical, so we have other denominations participating, though I myself am definitely Catholic. @@ChrisMusante I am not familiar with that. I honestly don’t follow the Pope that closely. There is more misinformation than accuracy out in social media land.
