I have the 2011 EX-L Model. I love it. It's bulky/heavy (the way it should be) and very comfy on long distance driving. If you don't like all the plastics then go get yourselves a $90K Mercedez SUV. My only complaint thus far is the constant ECO light coming on when I drive long distance. I understand its purpose but unless the vehicle is going to make me a smoothie for each time I drive at a pace that saves on fuel, I don't need a reminder light every 15 seconds. Thank you Honda.
2012 Pilot , Loud road noise ,the center vents don't close , leather seats very hard and uncomfortable, Very Easy to knock the shifter out of gear !! The sunroof blows directly on your head , can't open one or all windows , the noise is enough to blow your eardrums, Driver lumbar support does not retract all the way , leaving a lump not present in the passenger seat , the steering wheel does not adjust low enough, Does not handle bumps well , tires ping loudly over concrete seams on hwy SUCKS
When you open just one or all four of the windows the noise is unbelievible , and it feels like it will blow out your eardrums. We have 8000 miles on it and the tires ,which are Michelin , are wearing on the inside way to much. The wiper switch is blocked by the steering whl The wheels look awesome , but are impossible to clean the inside , behind the tire , this part is also polished like the outside . I sound like a whiney pain in the ass , but the car is not even close to what it should be!
Autobytel sorry, I should mention I'm in Canada, and just bought a used 2017 santa fe xl luxury (pano roof, leather, memory seats, auto liftgate) for only $35,000 CAD with 22,000 km on it. I had bought a 2012 Pilot 1 month before but traded it in for the Santa Fe the Pilot cost me $27,500 CAD with 50,000km on it. after calling 9 dealerships I found one that would give me $28,000 CAD plus tax savings for the pilot... so for around only $8,000 more I got a five year newer car with 30,000 less kilometers and in my opinion the ride, the engine, the overall quality ( JD Power also rates it better than the pilot, even the new model) not to mention panoramic roof, memory seats, auto lift gate and all that the pilot doesn't have! I just wasn't happy with the pilot, the VCM system bogged on the highway and was much more noticeable than on my 2006 Honda Odyssey, the rear Entertainment System DVD player would only play one disc and basically be too hot to play another one.... So I figured I'd tell others in case they're thinking about it to check out the newer Santa fe or even the kia sorrento. JD Power rated Kia number one for initial quality Porsche number 2 and Hyundai number 3 if that says anything! Also reliability ratings are much higher than Honda... I think Honda has gone down the tubes as of late, they are resting on their laurels and think just because it has a Honda name it drives great. Just my humble opinion. :)
jussyjonny good luck buddy I get a lot on pussy in my 2015 Honda Pilot Honda is the way to go trust me I have a Hyundai Sonata 2014 and I treat it like trash I got a lot of white pussy in the Honda so I’m happy
I find the Pilot beautiful, the front looks elegant and stunning for me.
2012 has a different front grill..but im liking this model better..little bit more aggressive.

On the 11, bluetooth is standard on all navigation models. on the 12 bluetooth is standard on everything except the LX.
Thats a 2009-2011 Pilot. Big difference in MPG.
Got it, thanks! People were commenting similar things about the noise in the CR-V. So it seems I should take Honda off my shopping list.
I agree its a 2011, not 12
this Pilot is the 2011 !!!!!!
Insightful, thanks! What do you mean with "can't open one or all windows"?
Umm... The fuel economy numbers are off. The 2008 was 16/22 for FWD, 15/20 for AWD, but for 2009-2011 it is 17/24 FWD, and 16/22 AWD.
I like the honda pilot, but i have to agree with the others who commented on this video. The other people are right, this is a 2011 model. Not 2012.
This guy is a fucking giant! look he's taller than the Pilot at 6ft. tall.
thank you

If Pilot made in US forget it....gotta be in japan.
Like everyone else said, this is a 2011, not 2012. Old review, older iteration of this generation. A thumbs down, and a next.....
that's not a 2012
This is not a 2012 ding dong.
Toyota also saves more gas ^_^
Do yourself a favor and go test drive a 2017 Santa fe xl. The 2012 Pilot is not worth the money.
The 2012 Pilot goes for about $20k on the used market while the 2017 Santa Fe Starts goes for $30k-$40k. So you'd be saving thousands going used.

Santa Fe is one of the worst SUV out there

What a goon. Not much credibility when he doesn’t even know the correct year. Duh
