I have been watching your vedio for quite sometime. shukran may ALLAH reward for that. please try if you can post for slabless staircase design with reinforcement details. shukran
As all beams should have top and bottom reinforcement, they are doubly reinforced sections. In some cases, we do not need compression steel but in reality, we use compression steel for hangers and for shrinkage and temperature changes.
Don't entirely understand but I know it comes from substituting everything in the equilibrium equation and making Ast subject...Fst=Fsc +Fcc hope you can figure it out from there, coz I don't get how 'fsc' in (fsc×A'st) dissappear
Good explanation and easy to follow through.... I am enjoying your videos.
Thank you for your good and excellent work. very helpfull
you've just made em simple and clear ✌️
Glad to hear that! Share and like to transfer the knowledge.
Thank u sir for clear explanation,in other coming tutorial please include torsion in arectangular and circular beam.bravo
Thanks for your interest.

I will do my best.
Thank you so much ..
Awesome teaching methods and simple..
I clearly understood..thanks
Glad to hear that
Does require design Doubly beam where beam section occurs Hogging moment at the support or cantilever beam?
which code do you use for this design ? It is not by ACI 318
Very insightful lessons, sir
Excellent explanation sir..
How can you be able to determine suitable diameter for singly and doubly RC section
Dr El-Gamal, would you be able to make a video regarding the beam? Thanks.
There are already some videos about beam design in my channel.
Is all section are doubly reinforced for lateral loads ???

great job
Thanks Sahar.
Thanks dr sharif
You are welcome 😊
great work as usual Dr
You are welcome 😊.
@MrElgamal77 hey how can be able to determine suitable diameter of singly and doubly RC section azin 6T20 (1885mm 2)
Awesome
Really your vedios are handy and informative
Thanks
Please can you post some vedios about RCC tank design
You're welcome 😊
Thanks Sir , Can we design flange beam as a Doubly Reinforced Beam?
yep we can
Thanks for sharing this knowledge...plz Sir teach us how to use software (protar)
Thanks for your interest. I am not expert in this software. Sorry about that.
hello Dr, thank you so much but can u state the code ur using again I couldn't get the name
BS8110
And when do we use the moment distribution method
If you have continuous beam or slab and you can not use the code coefficients
are you using bs8110?
Yes
why Ast bottom need to add compression steel area at the top?
