I am really impressed with the re-creation of Buster’s voice!!! Bravo!!!

A couple of lines are uncannily undetectable from the real thing, but...the technology is not quite seamless yet ;)

Why thank you! The script was mine…the voice was generated by Greta Bowie using AI!

Nicely done! Totally forgot today was April Fools 😂 I just thought this was a great modern take on old interviews and nothing more. I believe Buster would say those exact things if he were here today!

He mentions being dead for over half a century before that...figured that was more of a giveaway ;)

You've outdone yourself again, Ruthie! To be honest the AI stuff perplexes me a bit but not that much in this case, as it feels familiar hearing you talk to Buster like this. I often imagine talking to him in a similar manner and we all know he would adapt to our current times in a heartbeat!

Wasn't fooled! Freshly out of listening and re-listening to his interviews, was able to tell at the very first sound of words (not his speech pattern, intonation nor rhythm - also ''I've been dead'' - is a dead giveaway seconds after ;P) but brilliantly done all the same: caught the colour and personality - and, honestly, very well said! ... Good movies are made today, but these in this day and age (and that's a paradox) get less exposure than the blue screen stuff, which feels increasingly cheap and worthless. Came back to Keaton and the gang (anything pre-2000) precisely because of today's bad and contradictory storytelling, non existing characterisation and CGI all over. No sympathy, no empathy, no respect, from today's creators - and, as a consequence, none from the viewers. When folks just naturally love good fun and gravitate towards it! ... Frank Keaton, right? A good name: to be frank = free, open, honest, sincere, 100% true & genuine (when doing bits of magic, sleight of hand too) - which is exactly how he comes across as. It's good to see things done the old hands-on way, feels good to watch the inventive brainiacs at work, how they figured stuff out, what they did. ... And have many hearty laughs along the way! Yeah, good stuff!
... ... Then again ... damn if I know ... Thanks for uploading! Made my day XD

Given we were using AI we really didn’t want to fool people for too long. As a technology, AI is ever improving & it’s very possible just a year from now that we could get his voice indistinguishable from the real thing. As for Buster’s view on films today…well, that’s just my guess on what he might think based on his need for story in his own films. He might watch a Marvel movie & think it the bees knees 😂

LOL Greta used AI rather than her own voice ;)
