If you know what game I am on about please don't tell others what the game is or who made it, harassment isn't cool... I just wanted to make a statement about it. Will hide people from my channel who wont respect this.
My honest take: so long as they gave credit, I don't see what the problem would have been. I wouldn't be mad. I would actually see it as a compliment that someone decided to use my remix. Besides, your channel description and about pages aren't very useful, no one would really know how to reach out. You don't explain how I should credit you, or if your stuff is off limits. Oh sure, leave a comment... And you'll *maybe* get a reply. At that point it's just better to use the song (which isn't even entirely original mind you) and give credit to the op. If the op has a problem then take it down. Better than waiting for someone to reply to message they may never even see. And you know, to be even more honest, they shouldn't have to ask permission for a song that is free. You decide to put something out into the world, well, prepare for the consequences that come with it. Which includes anyone using the piece for their own uses. I could see the argument that something original (and costing, no less) would require someone to ask if they can use it, that would be correct. But, this is an arrangement, it's a TH-cam video. This is free real estate. In your case, this would benefit if the game developer credited you. You do realize that's how many of these videos get more views. They heard the song in a game and thought, hey that's pretty good I wonder where it's from. And if it's credited, people will naturally check it out. I have no specific examples of this but I'm sure youve seen many music uploads with comments saying, "I heard this from another game" or "This was in something something", yadda yadda. It will expose more people to your music. My two cents.

Its mostly a private matter because I knew the game owner on Discord before he took it, that was the part that pissed me off (he did not credit me at all even after he took it off, people found this because it was put on a playlist by a fan of the game). They said it was not a big deal which it definitely is, common sense not to take something that u didn't make and I would of said no anyways because of this other point: To establish I do not care about making money, I cant even monetize to be fair and wouldn't anyway. He was experimented on as a child, and Maria couldn’t live long enough to see him grow up since she’s a human, and we obviously know giygas’s race can live a long while. Giygas is really just a scared kid who wants his mom back after becoming the thing he is in earthbound.He originally was just going to take out the human race after George studied the alien’s PSI, but now giygas probably regrets doing this to himself, because he became so strong and couldn’t control his anger. He just misses his mom, and he doesn’t want ness to kill him. He most likely regrets a lot of things he did, and this statement is justified imo, because if you take “Giygas is fatally wounded!” And reverse the song, you can hear a faint voice saying “I’m so sorry!” Over and over again. Very eerie
That’s very true, Riley. For all his bluster about destroying the planet, in actuality, Giygas was just a scared child, lashing out because he lost his mother, and that rage consumed him.
That Wil never happen, Nintendo doesn't have the balls to do a remake of earthbound because of how dark the story truthly is, but yeah it will be really awesome if they remake it u.u
man everybody seems to be talking about giygas when he was normal or where he has fully trasformed into the mess he is but almost no one seems to talk about how his trasformation was like this picture you drew really makes me feel bad for him honestly i can imagine he had a moment when he was like "what have i done" (nice picture by the way) and this remix doesnt feel like a remix it feels more like a complete remake in the best way possible and it really inspires me to want to learn music doubt it means much to you but to me it does thanks(: (sorry if i came off as a A hole in the last sentence didnt mean for it to come out like that if it did)
I keep coming back to this video. Honestly this is such a good remake of this music!! It's so unsettling and it makes you get a sense of how twisted Giygas is and how grand of a scale he's on! I especially love the abrasive synth bass in the third phase! Really gives you a sense of panic and his stability becoming worse. And that ending! It's so mysterious and alien! It makes me wonder what an official remake under Itoi's watch would sound like. I love this!

Love it. The synth gives it a more classical alien feel from the 50s. Definitely caught the more horror sci-fi aspect of the Giygas fight
