Do you pass the plants in the mordant before printing? and the fabric do you put in alumen before printing too or just in the end?
And the water is cold or hot?
Can I set this with soy milk instead of Alum? I know soy milk can be uses as a mordant, like alum, but not sure in this case doing it after.

This is an awesome technique! I'm so excited to do this!! I have coleus plants and I'm hopeful that the leaves will work for this!!! Will the color of the leaf stay after it soaks in the Alum if you machine wash after wearing it?

hola, el material que uso es realmente simple, hay aceite rojo turco (TRO) y alumbre para el proceso de mordiente, luego alumbre para el proceso de bloqueo de color, eso es todo, lo más importante es hacer mordiente o tratamiento del material para ser ecoimpreso. buena suerte, dmme para detalles en instagram @ roman.muhtar

Hola, puedes usar varios tipos de materiales para la fijación del color, cada material mostrará un color diferente, elegí el color original de las hojas, entonces usé alumbre, también puedes experimentar con otros bloqueos de color 🌼🌼🌼✨

Can you please give me some more details about the fixation. I have checked with stores with the name you mentioned. But they are not aware about the fixation call “alum”. Also is there any other fixations?
