The best illustration I have heard that helps me come to terms with the different denominations is, if you imagine a wheel and the spokes of the wheel as the different denominations and the Hub as Jesus Christ. The closer the spokes get to each other is the closer they get to Jesus. That's where you also get the unity that Dr Mohler refers to in his answer.
I wish I had the opportunity to pose a question to this amazing man of God. Does anyone know how I could get a question to him? I had an Anglican Vicar declare to me the other day that Muslims worship, seek after, the same God as Christians. His reasoning was, just as the Jews recognise and worship the same God as Christians, even though they fail to accept Yeshua as their promised Messiah, or, the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Godhead, they still acknowledge the same God. The same God of the Old Testament. Within my Spirit I know without doubt that he is wrong in his assumption. I'm just unsure of how to explain why.
