Skilled but when locking both back wheels to force drive to the front puts immense pressure on the front half shafts and diff, presumably they have been beefed up !, Range Rover CLASSIC = BEST RANBGE ROVER EVER MADE!! LATEST RR Couldn't hold a Candle !
How do they get the back wheels to ",Lock Up" ????. This would help GREATLY in Mud when you loose traction !!. I have 3 1988 RRCs and LOVE THEM !. Please tell me how to make mine do this ??? Thanks for any help !!. Awesome Rangie Bud !!!!
The range rover will have whats known as fiddle brakes, its the ability to lock either the right or left wheels for tighter turning during trials like this.
@@suzukimudplugger yes but it isn't stock , as far as a I know ... and presumably one can retrofit this fiddle brakes on any vehicle ... just like sand buggies , for example . They use the fiddle brakes just on the rear to make the car "steer" on the sand ... they have some two hand brake leverages close to each either , instead the one conventional Single hand brake on "normal" cars . At least, I 've seen a lot of Range 2-doors at desert races and never seen any of these Range's equipped with it , mainly because it is of no advantage in desert racing !
doncarlo5 yes this is an add on that you can buy and then fit to the car, and yeah they’re used massively in trial events for tighter turning through stage gates. Can be fitted to most types of trucks
you prolly dont care but if you're bored like me atm then you can stream all of the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my brother during the lockdown :)
