Awesome video, the old p38's are very capable, I must admit i've never been a huge fan of the p38 due to the reliability scare stories you hear/read ect, but after watching this, strangely I want one lol.

You mean HSE? And yea. I had mine for about 6 years now. So proud of this machine. The only thing that failed on me were the brake lines. But thats because all the salt that corroded it. I took out the back seats, the woofer, and A/C system. Skyview still works. :D
mine is a 1999 dse i spent two grand on it in nine years so no dearer to run than a ford fiesta and it gets me everywhere when out shooting Great truck still

just towed a 2017 hilux out of deep sand right on water incoming tide . 60000k ute . my 99 p38 v8 beast was 5k n tugged it out no worries . new not always best

P38 from 95 to 99 just sucks!!! from 2K until the end of its productions is a lovely machine. All the defects were corrected, the only thing that still a pain in the ass, no matter the year, is the air suspension, which is an easy fix: replace it with springs and that's it.
Air suspension is one of the P38s best features. Easier and cheaper to repair than springs if you know how. It's just a compressor, some valves and some airbags
Dont tell me about it is me 2nd one.. 97 SE 4.0and 02" HSE 4.6 i have been from EAS suspension to coils. Alarm Problems Eka codes BECM computer faults Parts. labor work problems , Expensive bills and still have it and love it.. So.. is just a range rover thing.. hard to explain a
