One the best Battlbox boxes I've seen in awhile. I really like the camping theme too. I'd be ok with the book even because I enjoy to read "real" books lol! Not bad, and great video 👍!
I have the uberleban pot bought it like 6 years ago paid 35$ for it only I don’t have that fancy bag mine is a wax draw string bag snd mine came with a paracord wrapped handle but it’s an amazing product definitely a like it item
Every thing in that box I can buy on Amazon.
If the clip on the knife is too strong then you can switch it with the other one. No one used the cloth that came with the knife to wipe off the oil in any of the unboxing videos that I watched.
The most useful thing in this box is the pouch the pot came in
Some good items overall not really much to complain about. And that says alot with regards to battle box overall based on previous ones lol. If the book had the label of everything you need to get started might be a better label. Always best to have someone along who actually knows and can teach you how to properly use gear safely, for example: everyone thinks you can just pick up an axe and start swinging but there are safe ways to do it along with techniques for using it and that applies to many pieces of equipment as well. Doc I’d love to see a short llama video on this. I agree this was a good box. I don’t get the KOTM, but I have that knife from Holtzman’s and absolutely love it. I have a few other folders from Nate and they’re all great quality. I was glad to see that put another Holtzman’s knife in a box.

Awesome kotm I am starting to see that my EDCing of fixed blades is becoming more difficult with every place you go they have a problem with big knives.
400 / 1000 is crazy coarse. My normal EDC is sharpened to 2000 then stropped. Nice that they included it tho. Most places don't.

Unpopular opinion but I love those books. I have audhd and books like that help me learn so much better. I have some army field manuals but I like the field and stream type stuff
If the book end up as a really useful tool for you, so much the better!
Correction, you can always plan perfect camping trips, but actually carrying that plan out is where problems arise, Mother Nature and human nature always present variables that will screw up the plan

Honestly, the only criticism you have to offer is based on with the book your extensive training in survival, and your large collection of camping and survival equipment. Most people would have nothing to complain about here.
You kind of hit my criticism on the head without realizing it. Most people without any training or knowledge would see a book like this, see the endorsent from the Field & Stream name, and believe that it is in fact a complete 100% guide. That really is the crux of all my criticism. It is not so much a how to or a walk through as a "things to Get you started".
And seriously I have no problem with that! In fact I can totally get behind that.
BUT
Dont call your product a 100% guide if it's a starter manual. That seems deceptive to me. To me that's like selling a model kit with most of the pieces and some Bullet point instructions on model building tools to have, & good techniques to model building, but then packaging it as the complete model kit and the 100% complete model building & tool guide.
100% agree with the book. Good for absolute beginners, but would they really be buying battle box? Would be better of putting something along the lines of lofty wiseman or bushcraft 101
Honestly, the only two things in this box that I liked were the knife and the pot. The rest was decidedly "MEH!" Even the pot is almost meh because I have a cooking set. I don't need any more. I stopped my sub to BB for this reason. I've got enough of this crap. I just watch your unboxings now to see if there are any cool things I haven't seen before. If I see something I like, I'll just go buy it. Keep it up!
You mentioned canceling Battlbox after Mission 106 in a previous video. Is that still your plan?
