Hey Curt, didn’t get to watch live, was working, and once again I enjoyed it. Also thanks for sharing your experience information. This viewer really appreciates it. Thanks Curt 👍
@scottbadger3136 Yes, I stay home... But I have to fish this upcoming weekend too. My concern is stuff not working. Fishing is fishing it could ho either way. Good luck, stay safe and warm
@@curtquesnell Thanks for the quick response! In my experience, the bite usually shuts off when temps drop like that and since I'm 3 hours away - Ill probably stay home.
@scottbadger3136 I've had great fishing in really cold temps. So many things can go wrong and they can get serious pretty fast when you are freezing. Warmer is better fish biting or not. Now if you were renting a day house from Long Point(for example) they would haul you out, or you could drive out, holes drilled, house warm everything ready then you are safer and better off all day. Then you worry about if the fish bite or not.
Is it passable to get to the angle on a side by side? Would tracks be needed/beneficial? Coming up on the 17th with a SnoBear. Would like to bring a side by side for extra gear/bodies if easily navigable.
@@jakp9288 I'm sure you COULD do it cross country. There is not much snow. Only cracks and heaves would be in the way. The Snobear could use the snowmobile trail. The side by side could stay off to the side I guess
@JimNickel-z7x I am in for bait every couple of days. Ian pulled me in the other day when my Ranger couldnt start in cold. Great lake people, hard workers.
