Utah lost Bryson Barnes to the transfer portal. No big deal. Due to injuries last year Utah had to start a 0* walk on Quarterback. Cam Rising is back this year. Also Brant Kuithe, Utah's #1 tight end who was out all last year due to injury is back. Utah always has a top 25 defense and will probably have the best defense in the big XII. Utah ended last season ranked 13th. The best defense last year in the BIG XII was Texas at #30. OK State's defense was at #122 out of 130 teams ranked. Maybe that is the reason OKST is not getting any love. With the amount production that OK State is returning I think they should still have better odds to win the conference. Of all the teams on Utah's schedule I feel like that is the game that Utah will have some trouble with.
