Every round robin makes your block ~41% larger. Great way to add block real estate and visual interest. Using even smaller economy blocks in the middle (I like to paper piece small ones) is a fantastic way to use scrap fabric in a controlled setting. Your fabric choices are inspired. I would recommend a square up ruler for these blocks to balance the internal elements with required seam allowance on the outside of the block (methods for mere mortals).

I just came across this video and I like the quilt block. However, the camera work isn't great for seeing what you are actually doing which is a pity really as you explain things well. I think your monochromatic quilt doesn't need sashing.

This would make a great quilt-as-you-go pattern...
Perfect...I have 3 1/2 & 6 1/2 sister panel sayings blocks I needed to size all the same.
Looks like a great pattern but your demonstration would really benefit from an overhead camera.
