incredible production as usual and I want to thank you for helping me get more enjoyment and satisfaction from something that has been a hobby of mine for as long as I could drive... going on 25 years now. thank you for sharing the secrets with us
Many car owners find car cleaning a chore because they don’t know how to do it properly or understand which products are needed, consequently they use the local Swirl Masters car wash. A properly de-conned, polished and protected car is a dream to wash and therefore a pleasure. Love the video 😊
Knockout video! Great music, editing and some super washing thrown-in. Love it. Again, thanks for the product listings too. Always much appreciated. Peace.
I think this channel is spreading the willing of taking care of its car. Even non car guys will feel at certain point the need/will to go out and valet their rides! Hands down for you Joe for inspiring me since 2017 ❤
No one could deny the absolute quality of this production, Really well put together by the craftsman of his trade! Personally am not into coloured foam, but hey that's just my preference. You do have way with words Joe, so a blend seems the way to go!
Your teaching me how to detail my semi's interior better. I try to keep the outside clean but it's a company dump truck. So 2ce a month is all they'll pay for.
after watching many a car cleaning videos on TH-cam, learning the moves and products, my neighbors hate me for cleaning mine every week haha . I can't wait for those 15+ degree days - I will detail the shit out of it.
Whoever designed those wheels, well, should be made to wash a set every day for a while. See how fast they change their design language...LOL. Awesome vid as always. Yes, I love the narrative, but I also love these music only vids. Much love from sub-zero 🇨🇦.
Nothing on this model specifically but there has been plenty of other interior-related content from me over the years you could potentially take useful hits & tips from.
Here in the US we get a neutered version of the C-HR. No hybrid option, no 6 speed manual option, only base engine (2.0 liter/litre 4 cylinder non-turbo…) and a CVT…
One of the best detailers on TH-cam, the understanding of the attention to detail is second to none. I’m looking to start getting into this myself, realised I have a bit of a passion for it, are there any starter products you would recommend?
If you mean your own car, I'd say just don't get carried away with all the many many different brands and products. The reality is, you really only need a few products but you'll be tempted, like I did, to spend hundreds and hundreds of £s. A good All purpose cleaner like Green Star or Surfex HD can be used in many different dilutions and can do most of the jobs, like as a pre wash, a tyre cleaner, an engine bay cleaner, door shuts, and car interior, those 2 are so coat effective. A couple of noodle mitts and a decent shampoo. A drying towel and a spray on sealant or wax, with say 5-10 microfbre cloths is enough to have a good starting point. I'm afraid a power washer is pretty essential but not a deal breaker. It's when you start getting into it you start buying snow foam canons and snow foam, tyre gels and evry other thing under the sun that it gets costly.
Sweet detail Joe. I tried the Turtle Wax Trim Restorer that you showed on you last vid. I did all the plastics on my JCW Mini Cooper. Very good outcome but a bit of faff to apply to ensure a perfect finish in some areas. On the Maxton Design textured front splitter it did a great job. Don’t wear a white T shirt when using it. 😂😂😂😂. Cheers chap keep them coming. 👍
Really enjoyed - thanks. Any reason why you didn't also use the TW foam to clean the wheels? I've used it once for both tyres and wheels but pretty sure it was responsible for bleaching my OEM mat black calipers 🤷♂
After owning one of these for almost 6 years, I'm assuming the blower got a fair chunk of action? There are more water-retaining cracks and crevices on these that even here in the Aussie sun, they take some chasing out!
Just curious about your thoughts on some of the other car cleaning channels? One of my favourites is AutoShine, I think mainly because the cars he usually works on are really filthy and he does amazing turn around on the interiors. I can imagine people will say the exterior quality isn’t as professional as the work you do, I guess budget being one reason and time. Another channel I like is Auto HQ with Heather, she gives good reviews but the treatments she does to the windows I’ve never seen before, don’t think I’ve even seen you do one. Me personally I don’t do much to the exterior as do t have my own jet wash, so just use ones at garages. But with the interior I give a good vacuum and have some anti static foam cleanser which I think is brill for plastics but sometimes spray a little on carpets and seats and then brush with steam cleaner and that works well. But wonder if there’s better and easier ways. But the foam cleanser Id recommend to even professionals like yourself.
Nice car, video and tunes! That Carscope Ink dressing & tyre brush is a great combination. Don’t know when Henri changed the Ink colour to Blue though, mine’s a pale custard/mustard colour 😀
@@CarCleaningGuru The wife has one of these and I find the lower plastics are pain to keep looking good. Can you recommend a decent plastic trim dressing that’ll last a few months at least?
It sucks that i can’t do this in front of my house. I have an unlimited pressured water self service like 5 min away for €6 luckily but i can’t spend more than like 2-2.5hrs there otherwise i’d feel like im holding people up. Good thing they allow you to bring your own stuff but i still can’t really take my time and always rushing through
Just an idea to save you some time instead of blurring out your house number just cover it with something before you start recording. Nice job on the cleaning 👍
@@CarCleaningGuru Aha, here in Sweden you're not allowed to let the chemicals go out the drain or ground, you have to go the carwash. Im not so sure the carwash separates the chemicals before rinsewater hits the sewage though 😅
The most enjoyable jobs are the ones where you take the time because you have the time...
The only time that realistically happens for me is off camera on my own car on a rare overcast but dry day.
@Car Cleaning Guru amen to that! Btw...do you like the new Graphene Detailer from TW? It's on my radar...
Not going to lie I really dig how prolific you’ve been lately. As my favorite TH-cam detailer, you’re rocking my world
Need to try and get back to at least a solid 2 vids a month plus tidbits I reckon that’s my sweet spot.
@@CarCleaningGuru not to complain , but your narration is unparalleled
Quite enjoyed this video - minimalistic and clean editing

Watching this was so relaxing. Loved your music. That first song was fire! I also enjoyed the pace at which you worked. Thank you, and nicely done.
That's what I like about your channel: you keep inventing new formats.
I think this channel is spreading the willing of taking care of its car. Even non car guys will feel at certain point the need/will to go out and valet their rides! Hands down for you Joe for inspiring me since 2017 ❤
outstanding work Joe, and well crafted video, absolutely sublime work on a neighbours car -- more please!! 💯👍
The God of gloss and the Sultan of shine ! Very nice result.
Excellent track choice!
Seriously! Thank you, loved that!
Good choice of music 🎶
Nice work on your neighbor's C-HR, Joe. The winter grime is gone, and the gloss and clarity is back.
That won't last long up here sadly.
Good ole' Toyota!
Always excellent and soothing at the same time 👍👌👏
Another great vlog mate 👍🏻👍🏻
Lovely
I'd really detail my car more often if it didn't get dirty in a week! The joys of long commutes and road salt!
Top man doing a top job, making it look effortless as always with some great music...class who knew a hybrid could be so relaxing 😌.
I sense a driveway cleaning video coming soon!
Nice vid guru
Simply the best, like as guru!
You are the most marvelous. In my opinion.

Nice relaxing, calming video.
Brilliant job Joe! 👌🏻🤩👍🏻
Guru is probs the kinda guy who closes the fridge with his hip
Guru is the type of guy to hand polish his cutlery when there is too many swirl marks in them

Great job and I love these cars , got my third one on order

Beautifully done as always.
looks brilliant
Talking through the process, for me is a preferable experience.
My voice (and sanity) needs a rest every now and then!
No worries my man 😁

Very enjoyable, do you have a vid on how to do the interior? Especially hard to reach places.
Nothing on this model specifically but there has been plenty of other interior-related content from me over the years you could potentially take useful hits & tips from.
I always wondered if you worry about the fumes and such from all the cleaners and sprays?
Would love to do this exact same thing this upcoming Sunday but alas, rain Monday 🤬
Go Guru......Go my man

Great video, thanks for sharing. The car's a 72 plate, the wheels and brakes look a 72 plate, but the tyres for some reason look older?
literally me: "thats a fckin 72 plate... it doesnt NEED cleaning!"
(sees close ups) "ok.. maybe it does..." 🤦♂🤣🤣
Really enjoyed - thanks. Any reason why you didn't also use the TW foam to clean the wheels? I've used it once for both tyres and wheels but pretty sure it was responsible for bleaching my OEM mat black calipers 🤷♂
Just because I also had the other active wheel cleaner to hand so thought I could be more generous with the TW foam of I kept it to the tyres.
Hi what is this song called please
Brilliant video once again

Nice car, video and tunes! That Carscope Ink dressing & tyre brush is a great combination. Don’t know when Henri changed the Ink colour to Blue though, mine’s a pale custard/mustard colour 😀

That stub lance would make my job of washing aircraft wheel wells so much easier, too bad karcher industrial dont make one :(
Great video as always! What water pressure do you use while applying snow foam?
You should develop your own cleaning products or wipes and sell them
I tried to get going with it a few years ago but everything seemed to conspire to prevent it from happening 🤷♂️.
Nice video. Do your neighbours not mind you putting water spots on their cars😀
How long does it take you for this type of wash?
All day when filming, half the day when not.

I always forget in the moment 🙄
@Car Cleaning Guru to be honest I would aswel.
Did you use the same product on the paint as the windows? Turtle wax pure shine?
Yeh, prob not supposed to do the screen but whatever, says it’s good on glass.
Great video as always! Was surprised to see you use Wash Plus on a new car - thought it was supposed to be a little aggressive ?
I just didn’t want to use the same shampoo I have in my last 5 videos plus knew it would ensure it was stripped naked for the detail spray protection.
Are you allowed to wash your car in the driveway in Great Britain?
Hell yeh, I could do it in my underpants if I really wanted!
@@CarCleaningGuru Aha, here in Sweden you're not allowed to let the chemicals go out the drain or ground, you have to go the carwash. Im not so sure the carwash separates the chemicals before rinsewater hits the sewage though 😅

Super shiny cars but your paving needs pressure washing... ;)
Again 😩
Should just use auto smart. Cheap n effective. Best resuslt
I’ve used AS for 15 years. G101, Highstyle, Finish, Reglaze etc.
What's the music please.
Great job but I do think that you should have washed the underside
I missed the narration on this one!

Hi Mr. Guru, video is nice, but we can watch millions asmr this way. Can you bring Bach the old car cleaning guru who's talks is interesting. Cheers!
I always have to do a music video now and again to give my voice a rest!
And then it rained Monday morning 🤦🏻♂️
The Style just wasn't interesting with the music for 5mins in lol but won't dislike lol 😆
I can do the same job as u . for 35 quid
I do it for free 😝
I came for the documentary. I was disappointed :(
Very relax and nice cleaning, sorry but I don’t like the music.
Be back with the narration next time, just need a rest once in a while to prevent burning out!
Try it with an old car . not a car thats 2 hours old
