This is great advice to practice really any language! I'm a native Spanish speaker trying to learn some German, and you gave me some cool ideas... thanks!
Thank you, Connor! You’re always helpful. I’ve realized that I believe knowing enough words and grammar is enough to communicate. However, I’m finding that it doesn’t really translate to real-life speaking! 😂 I appreciate your practical tips and sharing this common frustration of language learning.
Very effective method of learning/practicing, and big fan of your channel and advice! However, inputting personal information into ChatGPT or other LLM gives me quite a bit of pause.
Good point - smart to be careful about what you share. an alternative would be to get it to ask you questions about a certain topic, article, video, etc that doesn’t have to do with anything personal

Definitely! Just swap out the prompts for your target language and you’re set. Best of luck with your German
I'm on the wait list.
Great video!
You have such a great accent 🙌🏾
Thanks!
This is a great idea! Thank you.
I just did it. Great exercise!
Great video. I speak European Spanish at level C1 but I'm still learning and I love your ChatGPT suggestion!
Glad to hear it! Agreed, it can be useful at any level

Glad it helped! Definitely, knowing words and grammar does not translate one-to-one with communication skills
cool tip, thanks!

Great video. By the way, can you understand Portuguese?
Yep! I love Portuguese, mine is a little rusty at the moment but I still use it now and then. Spanish gives you a big chunk of Portuguese “for free”
