A very pleasant cruise, thank you. Sorry for the loss of your friend but you have done him proud and there will always be a lasting tribute to him. Life can be so unfair at times. So very pleased for you that Geoffrey likes the boat, we have a black lab and he loves the boat until I start the engine and he goes into meltdown. He is such a wuss with everything not just the boat engine. I will have to sell up as it’s unfair on him and we don’t go anywhere😁😁

I lost my cousin in October to cancer. He was 62. Hearing your intro about Clint made me have a good cry for all our friends missing. Now raise a glass to them! Your vlog is lovely.. I love the ways it looks as well as you choice of subject. Goeff seem to be made for boating!

Richie here, Hello Patrick. Once a biker always a biker, I sold my bike last year to fund the wood burner. Intending to hang up the leathers. I gave Clint a helmet and some textiles.. knowing he probably wouldn’t get to use them, it didn’t matter it was about hope and connection. I’m looking at bikes again now , it’s so ingrained. Sadly we have lost two this year and two in the last two years, we remember them all in different ways to never forget them so they are still part of our circle.
We hope we did our Buddy proud.
Geoffrey is still finding his feet but he’s much more settled. as he’s a re- home he came to us as a 14 month old with plenty of quirks! He’s a character that’s for sure.
I downloaded the book Narrowdog to carcassonne recently but I haven’t had time to read it . I’m so busy at the moment. Maybe when my job comes to an end March/ April I may get time to read it!
Whippets make great Narrowdogs, I’m not sure Sapphire would make it over the channel she’s the slowest boat out there on the canal 😆😆😆

Jools, no, she’s not the slowest unless you know something I don’t, The Country House Gent has a leather belt driven boat. Had to be towed on the ribble link as his boat wasn’t fast enough or powerful enough.

I do think to some degree we have lost touch with so much of our natural way of life, and natural foods and therapies, and although we live a more sanitised life and we live longer than our ancestors because of a higher standard of living, modern life is not without its issues upon our general health.
Stress weakens the immune system as does poor gut health, and sometimes genetics can predispose a person to certain cancers. plenty of triggers there!
Chemo although it can prolong life and sometimes cure cancer, takes a dreadful toll on the body, yes it’s a poison,
I have known a few cancer sufferers who have had to withdraw from treatment as their quality of life was almost unbearable.
Thank you also for all the kind words about our Channel hope you find our content interesting despite now being Marina bound for the foreseeable future.

The natural food that kills cancer is fruit not in the sense your thinking of though.
There is a manufacturer who makes tablets from the waste fruit products to the food industry.
It's a highly concentrated tablet that takes a considerable amount of fruit waste to make.
Cancer research not as you imagine it to mean proved that taking this product prevents and reverses cancer and stops it from starting in the first place.
My story on this is hours long.
I believe and always will do that cancer suffering can be stopped but is not done because of the vast sums of money drug companies are making.
Having chemotherapy causes the cancer to hide from it in the body and reappear after treatment has finished story after story is the same
They responded well only to find it returns more virulent and survival chances are low.

A very beautiful memories and a wonderful memorable blessing to a wonderful person. The canals are so beautiful I loved seeing all the gardens on top of the long boats. Are those permanent spaces or do you have to rent the spaces? I truly enjoy your vlog and am so excited to learn so much more. Like how far do these canals go and what created them? I have so many questions running around in my head and being from the USA I am sorry if I ask to many questions but pray you don’t mind.

The canals are around 200 years old.
The moorings that you see are rented there are a few other costs, with boat licences and services. At some point we can cover more information canal history and other things.
sadly we can’t cruise, here in the UK for some time as we ar3 not allowed out of the marina because of Covid. in the meantime we hope you enjoy a peep into marina life.

Thanks for your comments. All the early videos have mostly music, I am filming on a phone and sadly there was way too much wind noise and other loud noises from the marina workshop that interfered with the usual tranquility.
I’m looking to use other Equipment later Down the line. these are fledgling vlogs, and where I have been able to include footage with natural sound without interference I like to use it.
We love cruising the cut David has lots of very good equipment 😊
The audio has a few issues as well with the first few that hasn’t helped. learning as I go.
