Relaxing at first then the drop gets you all soaked in the front 😂any way…. When I went on this for the first time in this year I started to cry but then I thought it was fun!

Y'know I looked this up for the memories, and while I _do_ remember the ride - I also remember a story my dad told me about it - we were in line for this and little ADHD me saw the _big red button_ on the operator control stand.
Guess who wormed his way out of the line to hit aforementioned _big red button._ It was me. I hit the emergency stop for this ride. _Oops._
Took them half an hour to walk the attraction and reset everything and my dad, to quote, said he "received lots of 'interesting looks and gestures' from other guests in line", haha.
I laugh about this frequently, especially as I've ended up in industrial automation as an adult, working on these kinds of systems daily. It was...I suppose...fate, in a way? But really it was just little curious me and my tiny curious arms doing....adhd child things.
Someday I'd love to bring my kids here and tell them. Laugh about it with the staff. Glad they're still kicking, though. Somebody tell the leprechaun in the tree Sully says hi.
Oh, and PS - per my dad - don't lick the ice....thing..outside the polar coaster. I don't remember that but apparently I was all about it....

My son tragically drowned on this ride, and we received nothing from the park.

@@redditus That doesn't sound very real, and if it is the park should've had to shut down the ride completely if I'm correct. But if that is really true then why did you not sue them? Since I'm pretty sure they'd have to take full liability from the park because the court simply would almost always rule in favor unless it was your fault that your son died, I do feel bad for you though if this is true.
