Toyota purposely did that. Oem is barely visible from the front because the side blinkers are not for cars in front of you but next or in blindspot. That's why it's brighter from the side and rear. Why is almost everyone who does this sequential turn signal video never shows how they look from the back?
The lights I bought did not have wires already connected to it. Would it be okay to use the cable from the OEM light - remove it and use it on the new lights?

Hi CyianLight, Thanks so much! I ordered from Amazon but can't remember the exact one. I usually purchase the ones with lots of positive reviews that look like they were written by real people. They are aftermarket parts so I really don't know which brand is best or if there really is a better brand. You should be fine with what you find on Amazon. Happy shopping!

I just did this on my 2021 XSE Prime and if you end up popping off the bottom half pushing the mirror forward towards the front bumper makes it a lot easier to put back in.

I disagree. The new lights look dimmer than the OEM when looking at it from the rear of the vehicle. I installed one on one side and compared the two. The OEMs are brighter from the back. Turn signals are way more important for changing lanes.

Very helpful video! Any chance you have the old lights you took out for sale possibly? A rock came up and hit my passenger side light and cracked it. I would like it to have the factory look as I might sell but can't find anywhere. I will buy from you if you have one available? Its a 2022 RAV 4

Thankyou! I imagine like a few others someone ( who shall remain nameless ) backed the car out and popped this whole thing apart when she hit the wall backwards. I was holding turn signal and both parts and even a small circuit board and two screws. Got it back together with some glue and your help. Cheers

Good video. Whatever you do man,do not install any auto power window modules. if you do install it it your Rav4 will no longer display open window message on MID. Just fyi

@@donutdoit.tutorials at was my case at least with XLE model, not sure about le model but i lost message that displayed open sunroof in mid display once i connected mirror module. I just don’t trust any modules from China. Same goes for tire pressure module, once you install it it will show you Kpsa units not psi and wrong tires locations.

Hi Superfastjellyfish. I have the XLE trim which doesn't have a puddle light projector from the bottom of the side mirror housings. I think only the higher Limited trim has that so unfortunately I won't be able to make a video on that. Hope the tutorial on the LED turn signal was helpful for you though. Thanks for commenting. You pop off the bottom half the same way and it’s a standard bulb. A downward firing LED would be best.
