Everyones experience pay wise is different when i started my pay was between 500-800 after tax weekly, they start you slow and it depends on time a yr you apply I started around August freight in general is low for many reasons weather holidays, late spring or summer is better but also who you get as Driver leader has a big play and how you drive and load acceptance/ rejection so if you want to get training and all of that do it and good luck SWIFT has a lot of options
Awesome, so about the same as a waiter at Applebees..but 10 times the responsibility and danger, never home because you live in the truck, getting fat and sick from sitting in a seat 10 hours a day, DOT inspections...did I mention that you basically live in the truck and dont get paid for it? Anyways, I'll take Applebees.
As I mentioned that was pay when i started with truck driving. And it is a big responsibility, big responsibilities aren’t for everyone. With truck driving You start slow and build your way up just like any other job. Gaining weight it’s personal i cook in my truck make healthy eating choices and i have been able to keep same weight. Danger is everywhere. When i feel homesick i get home-time, but i enjoy being out there driving.
