There are no stories to tell if you only take the easy choices in life and where is the fun in that? Sometimes you can go looking for adventure, other times it finds you and hangs around for a while like a bad smell. Well done, new levels of resilience unlocked.
What an episode, another great one as usual. I cannot believe how good a swimmer coco is. She absolutely loves it. Well done H on your school work, great achievement. See you for the midweek episode 😊
This spot looks amazing, challenge to get to the site but how amazing, totally worth it 😊. Awesome snorkeling footage, drone work and go COCO, what a great swimmer. The beach and water look amazing. Love the boat. Great team work on the fishing, it’s going to happen soon Troy, you’ll land a beauty. Enjoy 🍻🏝️
Love the pump up boat and little engine. Beautiful reef. Great to know the alternate route across the creek crossing, thanks for sharing. Should be some better signage definitely to avoid being bogged in sand.
Ohh Laura, the toe 😢 youch!! Great episode guys. I tell you what my heart dropped for a second when Chloe was swimming from you to the boat and Harrison popped up, I thought it was a damn shark 🦈 my stomach dropped. Cool seeing one though, bet you kept an eye out from that moment lol😅. I’ve put it on our list, have a great week ❤
Ouch Laura! Your toe looks sore. Another great episode. Love your travels - family times - the good and the bad. Great result Harrison with your teacher’s feedback.
You’re doing it hard, but sharing the shit and showing the real stuff, that’s what we love. Keeping it real. I was hoping you would go to north lefroy. Good to see others helping others. I had my first bogging by myself this weekend and got out of shit well, thank god 🙏😂. It happens to easily😅. Another adventure well documented, see you Tuesday night ✅✅✅✅✅
That’s one big van for sand driving. We’ve done all the WA coast with a camper trailer. It was pretty easy! I love big you beaut off road vans but you just can’t take them everywhere with ease!
I absolutely loved this episode, too. Wowzers!!! What you go thru to get to a destination. And out of it. Hope ur ok Laura the dam toe kills when the toe nail is broken/off. Loved how King Billy was out there enjoying his life with u all. Family is so important. It was so good seeing him out there swimming. Proud of Harrison he is loving life and still doing well at his studies. I hope he carries this on with his family. He is getting the best education on the road while travelling. That is life and living! 👍 Troy u did amazing job driving and getting everyone there safe. Loved how u both were sprung watching mafs. 😂😂😂 Hey I watch ot too. Love it when males can actually watch it. The name Journey Unknown really describes everything u do and what u go thru. Keep it up. Absolutely love your family and seeing u all together. Keep em coming. 💯 Safe travelling to u all. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Amanda, That is a very thoughtful message. Thank you very much 😊. We had a wonderful experience even though things didn't go to plan 😀. thanks for watching and supporting our channel 🙏
Oh WOW !!! on every notch of the scale.what a roller coaster ride that was!🥴.I'm gonna have to watch it again with much less anxiety...when you said about the shark I was freaking out watching Coco swim.. and then with the go pro swimming to Troy and Harrison popped up in the background ARRRR! I was aw King Billy living the dream ,how wonderful, what a great guy ..then i sorta had to reconsider all that lol with him watching MAFS😘😜..then i was omg will Harrison get hit in the head with a shovel!? And you toe Laura thank Dog that wasn't any worse....thanks for sharing your journey ,I'm a bit addicted to you guys lol you're a lot braver than I . Safe travels 🥰
Love watching you guys. Laura, omg, felt your pain from here. Ouch!!😮 Shame you couldn't have visited Albany WA but know how it is when you're on a time schedule. We travel with 2 staffy's & had the sand issue as well on our bed, so opted for a king size waterproof mattress protector. We cover the whole queen bed with that & no sand in our bed since. Tuck it in down the sides, nice & snug. Then roll back at night, take it off, shake it outdoors & good for next round. Well worth buying good quality. Dogs can do what they want on top of bed then & protects all our bedding. We do the hydrate thing as well. We pop a broken 1 in dogs water bowl, along with ice cubes, use cooling bandannas & jackets on those really nasty hot days for our dogs to keep them hydrated.🐶🐶 Happy holidays from Albany WA 🍻🥂
#JourneyUnknown OMG! I am so glad I found your channel! What a fabulous family you all are and CoCo is just GORGEOUS! Since Lockdown I have ADORED "YT" travelling the world. You are so interesting as a family. You are all very communicative, friendly & energetic! Even the dog goes swimming & boarding. Honestly, you are all so lovely and thank you so much for taking 'me' with you! My very best from Scotland. ♥♥♥
Good episode.I would be using the lanyards on your max tracks. Saves a lot of time digging. Bigger tyres on your Landcruiser would be better in the sand.
I was feeling your exhaustion getting out of that sand, and the frustration with no signage and google maps. Great episode we look forward to Tuesday night episodes.
Hi you guys. Love seeing your travel experience. Thought I could share a tip that might make life easier when on sand...have seen folks tie a strap to their maxtracks and lay it out to the side so that can find it once the track is buried....looking forward to more episodes😅
We also got caught in the same place in Yardi creek the same way you guys did... I think you guys did great... Great episode, showing the reality of travel...
Crickey, I was sweating bullets watching, that coast line is unforgiving in the summer time, the only time Yardie creek will flow is after cyclones 🌀, we would camp at Yardi for a couple weeks with our boats moored out front, Ive actually retrieved my 21’ Bertram right where you got stuck LOL, hopefully that’s the hardest part of your lap Safe travels
You will look back at this in 12mths and laugh. Each tough day is a learning experience. Don't rush, take a short cut if timing is pushed - you can always come back.
This certainly shows the challenges of caravanning into great spots on the WA coast. What site were you camped at as we’re going these in August, hopefully won’t get any flat tyres on our way in.
Certainly does. We originally booked 14 absolutely way too soft. In our opinion, 15 and 16 are really good sites and easy to get into with great beach access 😎
On your 10th bogging I’m thinking a plain caravan park is looking good about now😂 And then I see the views the next day and I’m like…yeah..nah that’s pretty good 👍🏻 😊
I would love some info on the prymal boat. I looked it up and found it at BCF. I would really like to know how you went with registering it. I've hunted the internet today and found you have to do it even for electric motors but I'm hoping perhaps there is a clause for smaller motors. How have you navigated that please?
Hi, depending on which state you live in, they all have different rules. I have the Watersnake Venom SXW Transom Mount Electric Motor 34lb White 34 lb. This doesn't require registration in Vic. Any motor higher does require registration.
My daughter says there is another brand of hydralyte type icypoles and they are called quenchers? I'm not sure exactly where you get them but they have a lot 9f different flavours.
Thanks, as mentioned, we cooked a gopro and had a gopro without the microphone. Sometimes, you've got to work with what you have at the time. Next episode has better audio
Hi, you can drive through National Parks to get to a dog free camp. As long as your dog isn't let out while you're in the National Park. hopefully, that helps 🙏
Dudes, why dont you drill a hole in the max trax and put a colorfull rope on it. That way you find it easier and pull it out by the rope. Ek sè maar net, afrikaans language lol.
Nice one 👍 👌. Probably don't cross Yardie Creek where we did 😉. It will be pretty busy in June. Keep your pup on a leed around your camp, WA uses 1080 poison, unfortunately.
Please get your facts right before shooting off with incorrect information. At no stage did we have our dog out in a National Park. Please find another channel if you're going to be rude Sue.
You're allowed to take your dog through Yardie Creek. Would you leave your child in the car whilst bogged in a 45-degree day?🤔. Mmm that would be stupid. Use common sense and ask a good question before being rude and misleading

That would be awsome for her.
She is a wonderful soul.
Love the pump up boat and little engine. Beautiful reef. Great to know the alternate route across the creek crossing, thanks for sharing. Should be some better signage definitely to avoid being bogged in sand.

Thanks Lee, yep we all go through it at some stage. We definitely would've stayed longer and explored if the cyclone wasn't around.
Sensational video Ningaloo reef area looks amazing well done you guys rock 😂 Dave from Walkerville
Cheers, Dave. we certainly can't wait to get back to the Ningaloo reef, an absolutely stunning part of Australia ❤️ 😍
That’s one big van for sand driving.
We’ve done all the WA coast with a camper trailer. It was pretty easy! I love big you beaut off road vans but you just can’t take them everywhere with ease!
That's all good. we had a fully offroad van and didn't expect to take it everywhere. it's all part of the adventure at the end of the day
What a mission getting out was. Beautiful spot though, will have to add it to the list. Take care, catch you on the next video, congrats to H too

You will love Eighty Mile beach for fishing and shell collecting….no swimming too many sharks. Great camping community.
Happy camping🐚🐠
You wont be going to 80 mile. no dogs! WTF.....
That’s a shame. Can’t understand they won’t allow dogs.
Crazy right?! 😲 🐕
Fantastic episode guys

Very true on both accounts 👌
I was feeling your exhaustion getting out of that sand, and the frustration with no signage and google maps. Great episode we look forward to Tuesday night episodes.
😆 it had every emotion. Thank you for tuning in 🙏
Hi you guys. Love seeing your travel experience. Thought I could share a tip that might make life easier when on sand...have seen folks tie a strap to their maxtracks and lay it out to the side so that can find it once the track is buried....looking forward to more episodes😅
Thanks for sharing. We do have the straps we didn't put them on at the time, unfortunately
Called tell tails. 99% unused!
Use ice to freeze the gum until it goes hard then your able to remove it. Have fun looks like such a beautiful place
Thank you. The ice works perfectly 🥰
We also got caught in the same place in Yardi creek the same way you guys did... I think you guys did great... Great episode, showing the reality of travel...
lt's definitely an easy place to get bogged 🤔 😆. thanks for watching and commenting 👍 👌
Fantastic video!
Thanks Matt 🍻 😊

when we were in yardie in 2020 the crossing was uncrossable. the water was 6 to 8 metres deep!
Cheers, Martin, it's a beautiful area, we can't wait to get back there 😍
Wowwe yep, you're not crossing in that depth 😳
Coco is living the life every dog should live, like our Gus and Jessie did.
Very true ❤️ 🙏
awesome episode guys great to see someone show its not all roses while traveling. What boat is that please?
Thanks Peter, The inflatable kayak is called Pryml from BCF
1st time viewer of your channel. Well done guys.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting 😍
Another great one.
🥰 🍻 🙏
Better 4wd gps, maps and homework.
More air out off tyres,
Fur kids knows 😂
Cheers, We use Hema maps. Our tyres were at 15psi
Wow you guys had a bad day getting out I could not believe how deep the max track was burring into the sand
I know, right?! We'd need a 5 foot rope on the Max trax 😲
You will look back at this in 12mths and laugh. Each tough day is a learning experience. Don't rush, take a short cut if timing is pushed - you can always come back.
💯, We actually look back now and have a good laugh 😃 Thanks Peter 😍
Awesome vid. Tip use lanyards on ya max traxx
Easy to find them
Thank you 😊
Great blog guys did you get the straps with the max tracks it makes it a lot easier to find them when they get buried
Hi Pat, Yes, we just didn't have them on at the time 🤔
Chewing gum tip, put a ice pack on it let it go hard, comes off easy have had to do it few times with kids haha
Thanks for sharing 👍, it works a treat 😀 🥰
Great video again, I’m assuming you don’t have a hema maps device to navigate those tracks?
Thanks Warren, yeah we use Hema 7 , and we probably need an upgrade
Try giving Avenza maps a go. They may not be the latest, but they work offline.
Thanks, Trevor. we'll check it out 👍
I think traction control was kicking in and killing your power - hold the traction control button for 3-5 seconds to properly turn if off in sand
Ahh, possibly, we'll give that a try on the next occasion 😉. Thanks for sharing 👍
@@JourneyUnknown We’ve book site 36 as it was all we could get for 5 days, hopefully it won’t be too difficult to get into this August.
Ahh, ok. we're not sure about site 36. Perhaps call Parks WA and ask to check the site conditions
❤ great idea using Coco cam
😆 she loved to help out 🐕 😍
On your 10th bogging I’m thinking a plain caravan park is looking good about now😂
And then I see the views the next day and I’m like…yeah..nah that’s pretty good 👍🏻 😊
😂, We thought the exact same 😍
Hahaha...i never use google...love doing the yardi creek track...never been north to exmouth by tarmac
We use Hema, Google, and hard copy maps 😀
How was it meeting the guys from vet in a van? They're fellow expat Victorians. another great epp, loving the content.
Yeah, really nice and down to earth 👌
I would love some info on the prymal boat. I looked it up and found it at BCF. I would really like to know how you went with registering it. Thanks I'm in WA.
There you go I reckon they got stuck on that same turnaround too.
Yep, not too many people wouldn't get bogged there 🤔
1:57 Great Video.
Put some coloured rachet straps on my Max traxs. Makes it easy to find them when buried in sand and mud.
Very true, thanks for sharing 👍 🙏
They come with straps
The orange trax did come with tails. green didn't. 🤔
Hi l carnt seem to fine the one you got that specific wash for your caravan befor you sold it
It’s in the episode ‘What’s Our New Caravan” on the 4th May. Worked a treat!
My daughter says there is another brand of hydralyte type icypoles and they are called quenchers? I'm not sure exactly where you get them but they have a lot 9f different flavours.
Thanks Margaret that's good to know. we'll have to give them a try 👍
This does not look like the way into Ningaloo from Exmouth. A check of the map shows you are way south of where I have been.
There's one way in from Exmouth to sth lefroy via yardie Creek. Ningaloo Rd was closed
Definatley worth using the maxtrax recovery straps
👌 🍻
When driving outback don't use Google maps, use HEMA maps as they drive the tracks.
Thanks Stewart, yeah we use Hema7 as well 👍
Beautiful Vizsla.😍
Thank you 😊 🐕 ❤️
Use ice to help remove gum. Hope this helps.
Thanks, Stephen. ice worked perfectly 👌 👍
apparently coka cola works too @@JourneyUnknown
Need to do something about audio guys its lousy in the wind on the boat etc too hard to watch.
I thought it was ok sound still audible not hard to watch.
Thanks, as mentioned, we cooked a gopro and had a gopro without the microphone. Sometimes, you've got to work with what you have at the time. Next episode has better audio
use 6 tracks ,put two in front of each back wheel and 1 in front of the front wheels
We only have 4 tracks 👍
Can you please advise me as to how you can get your Vizsla into Ningaloo? I also have a Vizsla and wish to travel WA with her. Thanks.

How good is it 👌.
Desolvit from supermarkets or hardware like Mitre 10 will get rid of chewing gum.
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
Did you say you like black bean sauce , mix Worcestershire sauce with soy sauce that will give the same flavour simple and cheap 🤘
Nice 👌
Where there in June with our dog any tips
Nice one 👍 👌. Probably don't cross Yardie Creek where we did 😉. It will be pretty busy in June. Keep your pup on a leed around your camp, WA uses 1080 poison, unfortunately.
We really enjoy watching you guys, so real compared to all the others talking bullshit and selling their atse for a free caravan etc
Thanks, Scott. we really appreciate your support 🙏 🍻
I think there’s always wind
It's hard to escape the wind, that's for sure
Ice block on the chewy till brittle then peel off
Thank you. Yep, it works perfectly 🥰
Ice blocks on the chewy 🤙
💯 thank you 😊 🙏
you exchanged packing up for MAFS
😂 We got set up 🤣
Freezing the gum
Yep, works a treat, thank you 😊 🙏
wow this is how we like your channel it's all real thanks guys
Thanks Geoff ❤️ 😊
Great spot
Music way too loud and audio too low

Thanks, we might have to invest in a new gopro
Wow, it's meant to be a relaxing holiday instead of what looks like very hard work for few days on a beach in the wind.
True, l suppose that's the reality of travelling 🤔 We still have wonderful memories of those couple of nights ❤️
lower the van tire pressures to the same as your car tires
Thanks John 🍻
Ice gets chewy of seats.
Cheers, Matt. we used ice and worked well 👍
Jeez, I forgot how much victorians whinge, thanks for the reminder jk.
Absolutely perfect 🤣
Maybe next time get some camels they are low maintenance. It has been done.
Hmm ok?
Freeze the chewing gum

Get some 4wd tips before heading off road, or Mick Taylor will find ya
Yeah ok Mick's more than welcome to come and say hi with our arsenal 🔫 🐕 😂
towing a van that size on sand is plain stupid
Tell that to the Parks WA, Mr Wolfie. It's a caravan site 😂
It may be a caravan site but that includes all types of vans. You can’t blame the government for your size of van.
Parks WA isn't the government lol
OMG how terrible :) you must be joking....
Classic 🤔.
Whaa whaa before the internet, look at the ground sand drop tyre pressure 20 psi.all you need is purple hair.
Stay in the city.
😂 nice one anonymous?? our tyres were at 15psi ya 🤡
All I can say is get the Mr's to help more, instead of her complaing about her toenail.
She obviously wears the pants in the family.
You actually nearly got us both upset 🤣 🤣 good try Welcome to Country 🎣
Gee arnt you a pleasant bloke God help your wife if you have one, it would have bloody hurt getting a shovel tip in your nail .
Why do you need signs to tell you to drop tyre pressure? Far out! Do your research on how far things are etc. Whingjng Victorians it seems!
Ok Malcolm Douglas 👏. Sounds like you're having a whinge??
