- Paper Mario Sticker Star walkthrough part 17 on the Nintendo 3DS. This video starts out with the Surfshine Harbor boss battle against the Big Cheep Cheep which when completed will give us access to the upper area of the world map. This video also shows how to complete World 4-1 'Snow Rise' and World 4-2 'Ice Flow'. Here are the time stamps for the key events/items in this video:

In case anyone doesn't know, it is possible to survive the Cheep Cheep's insta-kill attack if you protect yourself with a Spike Helmet before it strikes.

Except it deals 40 damage anyways, which will likely kill you unless you’re at full health

I used the sponge. The full explosion makes 99 damage and its VERY hard to block.
Is no one else questioning how the cheep cheep survived the water even though modern paper mario gets soggy and breaks away like actual paper?... No? Just me?
The water is also made of paper.
Sometimes paper mario games just break logic.
Example, in a level in world 5, there are saws, and when you get cut, theres a mario animation when he gets hurt + gets in pieces, then he gets back to normal, except he lost 10 hp.
This map has imo one of the best tracks of the game.
To bad the gage sucks ass

At least it wasn't too much of a problem.
I like how you have a vengeance system. If an enemy hurts you, you fight them. It keeps the game from having near to no battles, while preventing it from having too much fights.

That Cheep Cheep was annoying......
I tried killing it, but then I ended up going back to the 3DS Menu. Because it FREAKING EXPLODED!
So I used a Thumbtack to pop it.
I died when I tried that
The Timestamp 3:50 in the description is a little off.
It reads Gooper Blooper Boss Fight instead of Big Cheep Cheep.

It's possible to survive the insta-kill attack if you use the sponge before the pushpins!
I hated that Cheep Cheep boss so much, especially because if you don't defeat it fast enough you get insta-killed by it.
There is a mistake, though: the Big Cheep Cheep (when inflated enough) can drain your health when it bursts [and also when it does all of its health is drained, too].
You can Insta kill it if you have a spike hat. You can survive it if you are at max health of 50+

Since they took the idea of required thing stickers and use that for most bosses in the next game

Granted the story is still bad but you could enjoy it
they somehow decided to make the game worse early on
And dont get me started on color splash
Even in sticker star a player's turn takes about 5-20 seconds a tad long but ok
Color splashes turns can take a FULL MINUTE each
And thats just the menu not the attacks themselves
Also bad game design is having wasteable key items
