I just realized I made this 5 months ago what ;-;
Anyway, since BeatMerger has grown a bit since this video's release I would like to point out the game now has much more features than shown in this recording, some of which include the ability to save & load songs as well as publish them to a library where people can listen to each others' songs. And other usability changes have been made too, so yea that's cool :D
I might make an upgraded version of this video soon, but it really depends on how much time I have to spare.

pls add more stuff bc i want to make like hard techno and also add the size of the like thing bc lets say I want it to repeat in that form for long time so not just blocks but basically like spread the blocks so the stuff can hold longer not just always one time yk?
would be nice to have a synthesizer with actual oscilators you can modify, but that sounds super complicated.
It sure does sound like quite a complex feature.
To my current knowledge about how Roblox sounds work, I doubt it would be even possible to create something like that. But I can most certainly try.

hey so, really cool game, im using this game to somewhat get a grip on music studios, so, i just have one suggestion
is there a way to speed up certain parts of the tracks or make it so that theres more rapidity in notes placed directly next to each other?
Are you referring to something like tempo automation? Where you can change the tempo of the song throughout (speed up, down)?
If so, that feature is something that I do hope to be able to add soon.

edit: okay checked it out, its good, but some features id like are:
- playing track only
- being able to play with spacebar instead of clicking the button
- it repeats after all the notes are finished, instead of going on while the whole song/track is already finished
- more tracks/channels
- note volume
- and a LOT more from the drums that are missing (open hi-hats, cabasa, bongoes, and a revamp on a lot of the already existing sounds)
i know this stuff is way more easier said than done, but this could make it so much better, and this might even could be one of the first actually good daw's in roblox (or at least that ive seen)

This project is relatively new, so the ideas you've listed are very helpful and would definitely make this system a lot better! (Especially the track-only and additional sounds, but the other ideas sound great as well)
It may take me around a week or so to add most of those functions in, but I will certainly try to make them as good quality as possible.
