Single Handed Race - Lisboa - Portugal - Beneteau 260 Spirit

Single handed racing onboard "STARDUST" a Beneteau First Spirit.
Racing along Tagus River in Lisbon, Portugal, on the March 6th, 2022.
The class fleet (D class) was composed by 5 boats, although only 2 are shown on this footage.
It was a very fun race to do, as the wind played us quite a bit. From almost no wind to as much as 23 kn on the gustier side of the race field.

Parabéns Nuno, bom desempenho nesta regata. Nas regatas solo, rizar a vela é uma opção distante. 😜
Segundo lugar está ótimo para um barco que está ainda sendo afinado.

Tell me about those bungee cords at the helm, they seem such a good solution when single handed! Also, how good solution it is to have the main sail sheet attached that way? I like both setups!

Hello Josep. The Bungee cords are just regular ellastic cords that I buy on Decathlon store, that just tye two pieces in a way that the helm is centered (This is by trial and error). The goal is to be able to let the helm free for very short periods /some seconds , no more than that. About the mainsheet having bowth sides on jammers is a practical option. This way one of the tips is always near you and can be reached easily.
