    I made a mini bike plate fir my son and customezed it to look like Antique Illinois license plate, same background colors and state of IL silhouette behind "Goldie" and "Land of Chuck" (my son's name.) Someone I know asked me to customize a plate for her son. Is that ok to do?

      Gosh I am not sure. I know after a certain number of years images become public domain so depending on how old it is you may have an option there.

      You do need to print it to cover the entire thing. An 8 1/2 x 14 paper size will help with that.

    Thanks! Getting closer but I still need to know how to sublimate on a car door like names for small businesses or "SHERIFF", "FIRE INSPECTOR" for the county officials. That would pay GOOD money! Could you use a vacuum sticker bag (high heat plastic film with double stick tape for the edges) to "suck" it on to the door with a heat gun to get it hot enough to transfer? Vacuum bags have about 400% more pressure than a heat press, all you need is a vacuum pump (The suction intake side of any air compressor). Maybe use one of those VACUUM pillow storage bags cut open the long way and a vacuum cleaner to get that sticker "SUCKED" down hard into place then just heat it. What do you think?

    I have a question and it’s literally my biggest issue when sublimation.. I have a 16x20 swinger pro press. Many things have different pressures and when you turn the knob to adjust pressures it’s never the same place where it was perhaps when I made a rock slate.. then of course you go back to something different that is in size. It’s possible to get same spot fro that particular items pressure… is there a machine that has differ t markings or something that you can turn to it to and get the correct pressure every time? I’m wasting lots of products to get the right pressure and it’s becoming a waster of money to have a machine that does many things flat you can do , but don’t want to mess pressure of knob to get it back again..
    Any full proof ideas recommend to help me so I can use machine to do many things? Cause all I want is leave it on same pressure for rock slates.. don’t want to buy more machines for each product.. Thank you for helping in this frustrating matter. I love doing this but want to do more but can’t water money.‘I have serious health issue with 2 cancer on disability this give me peace and relaxation but at a cost of frustration when I can’t do other items..

    Hi Angie can you tell me why the felt pad is needed ?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is to hold heat. Metal can suck the heat away when you first press. By heating up that felt pad, you are starting with a hot surface and holding the heat longer.

      Both of these were from Design Bundles I am pretty sure. I generally use them or Creative Fabrica. I didn't link to the designs this time as I used photo shop to put the Jeep version together. If the surface was polyester, I would choose sublimation every time. If I am using a cotton surface, I would probably just go HTV unless the design was complicated then I would use sublimation on something like EasySubli.

      You can't print these in Cricut Design Space as they are too large.

      you may have to clean the print heads. I did 3 times and then no more lines. make sure your computer setting are right for printing as well (she tells you in her video)

      Before you worry about cleaning print heads make sure you have high speed printing turned off! That’s your first culprit normally.

    In the state of WI, you can’t have it on the front of the vehicle. It’s against the law.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do understand that this is not allowed on cars in all states but some people can have them and others use them in other ways.
