Just a mommy idea: Don’t worry about the natural light. It’s good for babies to learn to sleep without it being completely blacked out. It helps them be able to go to sleep other places that don’t have black out curtains.
I feel like an aunt while watching this! I am so excited for your little bubba, I am also excited for the both of you. You are going to be great parents, a good balance.
Helpful tip. When you first have baby keep day time light and bright and speak normally. Do normal things like vacuum during naps. Then make night time dark and quiet. Making day and night so different for my baby helped him lose the day/night confusion babies have quickly. He was sleeping through the night at 6 weeks and I contribute it to that.
I'm glad to read this. some people advice me to act normal so baby will sleep when is quiet and when it's not.. 🤷🏻♀️ so pretty much you shouldn't change things like doing dishes at night or flushing the toilet hehhhee... I like the idea of act the same but also I agree with you. they need to know the difference between day and night time. every baby is different so we will see which one will work for mine. thank you again for the tip! 💕

I think the toughest time was having little sleep and cluster feeding a newborn. But, other then that it is a true blessing to watch someone grow into the person they are! Congrats again!!!

Some people get seizures, I get migraines; pressure so bad behind my eyes that I’m about to have my retina detach due to migraines. Flashing lights causes an almost instant migraine for me. I can’t watch movies in theaters, and have to be careful about videos as well. I always appreciate kind warnings so that I can skip through.

It’s a big change and it’s a lot of change but it’s the best type of change. The hardest part in my opinion is just adjusting to not being able to come and go as you please because sometimes it’s just easier to be home with the baby and the sleeping but that doesn’t last forever. Teamwork is the best and good communication with your spouse. Also, keep in mind that you are all adjusting to this new life. You, Gabe, Baby Conte and milo lol.
I gotta say that I always get so excited when you guys post...honestly whether it's just Jess's channel or Jess and Gabriel I get so genuinely happy. I only really need to be subscribed to you and I would be so happy :)
