Just FYI- realised I didn't add this in: Out of the box you get 1x Hadley One 1x Half-Insert 1x Mid Sized Divider 1x Shoulder Sling 1x Bag Dust Cover There are other things that are optional for the Hadley one including full insert (prototype), leather shoulder pad and another half insert.
Excellent review. Quickly right down to answering all the questions someone who already uses a Hadley Pro might have. Covers all the points photographers might care about. Billingham doesn't even bother to offer different views of the bag on their website, so this is a great service to all. Well done, Warren!
Love the little split-second bits of "screw-ups" lol

I agree with you and Lok, this new series of bags is the perfect mix between style and usability. I currently own a Peak Design Everyday Messenger and it's quite the same spirit. It's designed for everyday carry / Traveling and of course photography. It's nice to see the evolution of the old school classic "practical" camera bags only made (at the time) for carrying cameras. Nice video indeed, and It's nice to see Lok and other friends in your Vlogs / videos 👍🏻😊
Hi Warren, thanks for the follow up to a great bag. I've got the Hadley Pro and couple Thinktank bags. Lok's point was a rather good one - I'd expect professional Togs to go for ThinkTanks etc than the Hadly bags as they are generally more functional.
This video and the video you feature in at the Photography show 2017 are what helped me make the decision to buy the Hadley One. Excellent informative video and really needed, as the Billingham website is distinctly lacking a lot of what you see here, when deciding whether to buy their bags.
Is the fibrenyte a lot more durable than the canvas Billingham uses? My Hadley Small made of canvas is already all ripped up after just one year, and for that period of time, the bags are a little too expensive.
It is quite big for my personal liking actually! But it really depends on your preference Example I like using the Hadley Pro because it's decent size form factor Lok likes using Hadley One despite the larger size because that's his preference So depends what works for you, Hadley one did get a bit on the heavy side in my opinion
WazPieMuffin yes , actually im more into Hadley Pro as in size and form factor , but the Hadley Pro didnt get the strap at the back of the bag to hold on to the luggage thing , and the shoulder straps is no removable as the Hadley One’s ... Im thinking that if i might regret to not having the new features if i go with the Hadley Pro Or I might be regrets having a bag too big or heavy for me ? How would you decide if you are in my situation ? I will be having my a7iii , tamron fe28-75 2.8 , laowa fe 15mm f2 , might get one fe70-200 f4 in the future
Will that insert\bag take a 70-200 2.8 on a pro body top down placement ? Looking at this one or the large pro. Thanks, great to see you guys working together
I got this same bag at the Photography Show UK. It is an awesome bag and I love it so much. I use it every single day. This is a bag that I want to take everywhere with me and as such it inspires me to have my camera on me more than any other bag I have tried. The insert is great too, but I am hoping to pick up a second as well. Awesome bag and I couldn't recommend it enough.
WazPieMuffin yeah I tried doing a make shift one on the Hadley Pro bag but difficult to attach another strap. The Hadley one seems like it may be easier to strap onto the attachment points?
ah, that's a good question and one thing I missed out - will add in description and as a comment Out of the box you get 1x Hadley On 1x Half-Insert 1x Mid Sized Divider 1x Shoulder Sling 1x Bag Dust Cover There are other things that are optional for the Hadley one
Billinghams are the best. I have a Hadley Large in Khaki/Tan (yummy) and it is amazing. I went to London for a week and I managed to fit: a 15" laptop, D700, D600, 45mm f2.8 TS, 50mm f1.8g, 24-120 f4 and pile of other crap. Pretty good for a shoulder bag. These things are worth the money as I had bought soooo many camera bags in the past trying to find one I liked and just thought f**k it I'll get the best. The only draw back is that it ways a tonne when fully. loaded
Good review! Hm. Good ideas but sewn-in laptop sleeve? Removal of pocket press-stud? Bit weird. Anyway, I currently own three and they are simply the best bags I've ever owned.
Great video, and well thought out review.. great job as usual, brotha!! I use my Hadley Pro almost every day, and definitely getting one of these when they are available to the U.S. =]
would like to get this but my laptop is 15 inch! definitely hope they carry this over to their other models! or at least an insert with the laptop gubbins
Nice what year is it? Other World Computing (OWC) has kits for them. The 2010 model can go up to 16gb of ram and yup to 2tb of solid state hard drive. You can get them up to 4tb of storage if you replace the cd drive with a 2nd hard drive.
Does anybody knows a shop in London that sells various Billingham bags? I plan to visit London the next months. I have searched two years ago in some department stores and camera stores in London and found very few Billingham bags. The site of Billingham doesn't give good information about London shops which are selling its bags. Of course online shopping is useful but I would like to check the bags with my hands.
The best review about the hadley one on youtube so far. Nice job. Dude I am getting one of the hadleys, I shoot with xt2 16-55 f28, 23mmf14, and 55-200f3.5-4.8. I almost bought the hadley pro cuz it just do the job for my kit and an extra room for my tablet. But the additional luggage strap on the hadley one is a real deal for me. If i get the hadley one though i knew its gonna be a waste of space. What would u sugest?
Yep, but means its peeking out the top a bit and touching the hood of the bag, which could lead to premature wear (it'll probably be against your body). Also means less protection for the laptop itself.
Visited after a long while for Lok's wish to check out your channel :D Hoping to see your next video soon, or more cameos if too busy to film your own. Take care!
My Billingam fits 3 Xboxes :-) ,.... anywho, if you're in Europe, and maybe elsewhere too, and you're interested in buying a Billingham, see if you can get it in the UK (maybe through amazon UK) cause I found they were a lot less expensive there than in my home country and neighbouring countries (except the UK of course), it's advisable to price compare anyway, but that was a free tip from me :-)
"Made in England" Watch out, it might catch fire spontaneously! :) Also how about reviewing some of the more affordable brand bags, like Lowepro and others? Watching the high end stuff might be entertaining, but it would be much more useful for most of us to see those that are more in our budget. I mean messenger bags, backpacks and the recent fad sling bags as well.
"Dear Sir stroke Madam. Fire, exclamation mark. Fire, exclamation mark. Help me, exclamation mark. 123 Carrendon Road. Looking forward to hearing from you. All the best, Maurice Moss." ps. point taken about the more affordable item reviews :)
Inserts are... not as good as Peak Design's, IMHO. With the "space" you have for the half insert, it can pack so much but everything inside will be grinding on each other, isn't it..
Are you familiar with Caden? It's a Chinese brand, they're on Tmall, AliExpress, etc. Their M line-up is pretty great. I have the M2 shoulderbag and M5 backpack. They look great, not like your typical camera bag, made out of grey canvas material and are super affordable.
This feels to much like a sponsored video to me. I'm sure it's a great bag, but nothing is wrong with it? A more critical view would be much appreciated.
nope, not sponsored - I mentioned that the laptop sleeve was sewn in , that's defo a bit of a downer for me - I also mentioned price/budget is a bit steep for some, but it's around the same price as the other hadleys - The half insert can be seen as a bit of a disadvantage depending on if you just want the full blown insert - Lack of even more functionality? although that again is subjective to how functional you want your bag - Gets pretty heavy on your one shoulder the more you stuff in, but that's just physics. Also you might prefer a backpack style camera bag if that's the case That said, thanks for the feedback though, given me some good ideas on how to structure my future reviews a little more concise and clear cut, cheers mate!
If you seriously intend carrying that amount of gear in one half insert. I guarantee you that your gear will get damaged and seriously scuffed scratched dented and broken.and then worth peanuts on the used market. The idea of a bag especially a BILLINGHAM BAG is to protect your gear not a challenge for idiots to see how much gear they can stack inside it.
I wanted to get one of these when I watched Lok's video. Black one is actually pretty nice. I tried out my brother's billingham once, good material but my shoulder hurts after two days lol Can't Resist to that good looking and spacing
Just FYI- realised I didn't add this in:

Nice video Warren, love the way you changed the backgrounds around between shots. I might need to start saving up for a new bag 😀
Hi Warren, thanks for the follow up to a great bag. I've got the Hadley Pro and couple Thinktank bags. Lok's point was a rather good one - I'd expect professional Togs to go for ThinkTanks etc than the Hadly bags as they are generally more functional.

Is the fibrenyte a lot more durable than the canvas Billingham uses? My Hadley Small made of canvas is already all ripped up after just one year, and for that period of time, the bags are a little too expensive.
Hey Warren, I love the way you color grade your video, would you mind to make a video about it in the future? thanks :)
Hi warren , do u think the hadley one is too big for everyday carry ? Do u carry ur hadley one for entire trip in bangkok ?
It is quite big for my personal liking actually! But it really depends on your preference
Example
I like using the Hadley Pro because it's decent size form factor
Lok likes using Hadley One despite the larger size because that's his preference

Hey, you certainly have a knack for product reviews! I wasn''t too familiar with you from Digirev, but this is great. Keep up the great work. TY
I got this same bag at the Photography Show UK. It is an awesome bag and I love it so much. I use it every single day. Any way to attach another strap to carry as backpack style? Sometimes gear gets really heavy on one shoulder when out for a long time! Thanks!!
Ben Farrow you could probably make-shift one but no official backpack solution. Billingham do offer shoulder padding but agreed it gets heavy.
WazPieMuffin yeah I tried doing a make shift one on the Hadley Pro bag but difficult to attach another strap. The Hadley one seems like it may be easier to strap onto the attachment points?
So, what do you get, two half inserts or a full insert? Or do you have to chose? And which dividers do you get with each insert?
ah, that's a good question and one thing I missed out - will add in description and as a comment
Out of the box you get
1x Hadley On
1x Half-Insert
1x Mid Sized Divider
1x Shoulder Sling
1x Bag Dust Cover

Great informative video . Very well done. And the way you speak is superb, no unnecessary words no thinking between sentences ,so professional.
cheers mate! 2 years late reply!
Very few videos of Hadley Pro Large. Will you do one?
would like to get this but my laptop is 15 inch! definitely hope they carry this over to their other models! or at least an insert with the laptop gubbins
th-cam.com/video/9LnMsJqa1Xo/w-d-xo.html
it does fit, check the video.
Did you try putting the new inserts into the two older bags and if so how do they fit?
Hi, Hadley One insert won't fit in a Hadley Pro, sorry! Its a bit too tall!
I have a back log of YT videos to watch, but you hadn't pop one out in awhile so just had to put it first!
Oh wow! Thanks so much for that haha- Really appreciate it!
If they last as long as my 22yr old 445 ... I might buy one.
Wait @WazPieMuffin, are you still running a white macbook unibody?
YES!!! Indeed I am, I love my white macbook - I wna switch out the RAM and CPU *side project*
Nice what year is it? Other World Computing (OWC) has kits for them. The 2010 model can go up to 16gb of ram and yup to 2tb of solid state hard drive. You can get them up to 4tb of storage if you replace the cd drive with a 2nd hard drive.
WazPieMuffin sadly you'll like be loosing full OS X support if you havn't already as those are getting on in their age
WazPieMuffin switch out cpu? 😮 could be VERY interesting to see
how you like fibrenyte compared to your old canvas one (hadley pro)
Do you think that this bag can fit in a 15" laptop?
billingham 550 is the best camera bag ever...
my one is over 30yrs and still looks amazing.....
Does anybody knows a shop in London that sells various Billingham bags?

Hi,
You can find our store finder here www.billingham.co.uk/retailers/
Hope that helps!
Mike

Thumbs up for the Tokina 11-16
thanks for the review! it looks like the 13 inch notebook fits pretty well. how about a macbook pro retina 15 inch?
It peaks over the top of the padded area so we wouldn't recommend it - thats the latest MacBook Pro 15, older ones might not fit at all!
Yep, but means its peeking out the top a bit and touching the hood of the bag, which could lead to premature wear (it'll probably be against your body). Also means less protection for the laptop itself.
How about Large Pro?
What size of laptop does it fit? How much can you put in it?
13 inch as long as it isn't a super chunky one :)
Good to see Lok!!!!
Can you make more videos please?
+Damon Song is that question for me or lok? 😁
WazPieMuffin I'd like to see more wideos from Lok as well, but the questions was for you. It's good to have quality content!
+Damon Song haha cheers bro, I'm gna try my best to put out more decent content 👌🏼👍🏼
WazPieMuffin That's great to hear!!
Visited after a long while for Lok's wish to check out your channel :D Hoping to see your next video soon, or more cameos if too busy to film your own. Take care!
where to avail? is it available now in hong kong?
Will be available from our website on 1st July! Should be available in shops not too long after :)
I love the photo in the background
Pity that laptop pocket isn't removable, I'd buy one right now.

a camera-bag = lok incoming, nice video you two! :D
Love that LOK!!!!!!
They will last a long time. I have a 35 year old Billingham 550...!
You messed up the beginning. Should've been:
"camera bags, either you don't have one, or you have 30"
"Made in England" Watch out, it might catch fire spontaneously! :)

There's a removable (with velcro) padded divider inside the insert which should help with that!
Nice bag! And informative and well made vid, good man :)
Are you familiar with Caden? It's a Chinese brand, they're on Tmall, AliExpress, etc.
Their M line-up is pretty great. I have the M2 shoulderbag and M5 backpack.

Warren I like your shirt.
+ShowDown5 thank you, good sir!
My name is Hadley

Is it just me? Your voice overs seems not as lively as when you are speaking onscreen. 😔
Billingham is a luxury toy..
First!
I wanted to get one of these when I watched Lok's video. Black one is actually pretty nice. I tried out my brother's billingham once, good material but my shoulder hurts after two days lol
Can't Resist to that good looking and spacing
haha, yeah shoulder bags might not be for all - I guess also depends how much weight you fit in it too
