I was on the Conquest and we had just left Cozumel for the return to Miami. The ship put on the afterburners and blew past a MCL ship like it was standing still. Of course our ship was rocking but my wife likes that (makes her sleep really deep for some reason). When we arrived in Miami they had everyone off the ship by eight-thirty am. Usually they want you out of the cabins by that time on a normal day. Didn't find out what was going on until and hour or two later as we were touring Miami that the Freedom was in need of help.

So grateful that nobody was injured and that all of you were able to make the best of what could have been a very grave incident! It was nice to meet you both on the Mountain View excursion while docked in Amber Cove. You've gained a loyal subscriber here. Glad we are all safe and made it back unharmed. While not so good for some to be stranded in paradise we were able to make the best of the extra time on a beautiful island. Safe travels and thank you for what you're doing!

I've cruised Carnival 6 times and Royal Carribean once and the Royal Carribean cruise left a bad impression because 2 men almost came to blows in line to get off the ship back in Port Canaveral.I have never witnessed an incident like that on a Carnival cruise.Very tense because I was between them and they were oblivious to reason.

We were on the Freedom also and loved the crew and how everything was handled...they did a great job! Love Carnival!

@@maddiepost1 We ended up gaining crew and supplies from the Mardi Gras. For sure, it is the best ship in the Carnival fleet.
