I like meeting people in the card room. I 've been on brilliance to Alaska and will soon be boarding for a Panama cruise. Like any size ship, jusy getting yo cruise Royal loyal is fun. Keep inspiring.
wonderful video!!! I love old school ships! I don't get the hype behind those massive ships where you can't even see the ocean with interior promenades, etc. Seeing the ocean is the best part of cruising!
Thanks for the video! We are going on an Alaskan cruise in May on the Brilliance, and your video showed us several new parts of the ship we hadn't seen notated anywhere else!
LOVE this video done very professionally quality of video was tops. Being a entertainer have done 2 contracts with cruiselines have seen both sides of being guest and working as crew member. Never been on brilliance of seas ...love the classic designs, may do it and the larger oasis class ships are nice crowded loaded with kids and geared with younger people both are awesome class of ships. Will try this ship for sure. Going on Radiance of seas nov 4-11th 2023 tampa with friends and again enjoying the smaller of ships for a change from the larger ones. Excellent video.
First ship we ever went on was the Brilliance sister ship Radiance. We thought it was beautiful. Still do. Many cruises later we recently went on the Brilliance. Little tired but they are still great ships with a great old world charm that is somewhat lacking on the newer bigger ships. Love the use of timberwork and a club like atmosphere. Having said all that the newer ships do have a bit more space, amenities, options, food choices and a decent size shopping area so there's benefits both ways.
"Somewhere in the pictures is a picture of you that you want to buy or burn" 😂😂😂 Thank you so much for this video! Very helpful as we are looking to book an Alaskan cruise on Brilliance, and it made me chuckle a few times!
Hi enjoyed your video very much. Just a moment in your stats of the ship. Space ration is normally done by taking two passengers to a cabin in this case 1075 cabins X 2 gives us 2 150 passengers divided into gross tonnage of 90.090 gives us a space ratio of 41.9 not 35 so more spacious than you think.
I love the BIG ships. My favorite word on Symphony was 'WOW'. Smallest Royal Caribbean ship I have been on was Explorer of the Seas. I am about to leave on a Honolulu to Sydney on Ovation of the seas (been on that one five times now and getting bored with it). Doing a five night on Brilliance from Sydney to Hobart (Tasmania) in March 2024 and I am very apprehensive about the size of the ship and lack of a Royal Promenade. I'll let you know how that goes.....
How was explorer of the Seas compared to Ovation? I sailed previously with explorer and loved the inside promenade. Does it seem that much smaller than Ovation? I am booked to cruise on Brilliance, but had a choice between Brilliance and Ovation, but unfortunately the itinerary was changed for my cruise and now wish I booked Ovation instead.
Explorer was okay (preferred the slightly bigger Freedom of the Seas). Ovation is a nice ship - I am very familiar with it and going on a 10 night New Zealand next month after spotting that cruise just before Christmas. Lots to do on Ovation, but I still think she lacks the focal point of a real Royal Promenade. On Ovation, it's called the Esplanade, but it twists and turns and sort of breaks up the space. Most people congregate near Cafe Promenade, which tends to leave the rest of the Esplanade a bit empty. There are even shops at some parts of the Esplanade, that never seem to have folk in them. The Quantum class seems to be the only new ships that don't have a proper promenade and i think that is a shame. Going on Icon in October and I see it's Royal Promenade has a large window on the Promenade, which should be interesting.
Loved the sister ship Radiance. I booked Brillance for next November and am contemplating room 7608. Did you experience a lot of noise from the Centrum?
You have weigh how many of the toys you'd actually use on newest ship like CON of the Sea's compared to Brilliance. Then too there's economics New Years cruise in a suite on Brilliance $4,000.00 New Years on the CON(of seas) in an aft balcony $27.000.00 . Thanks for the tour.
Nice informative...but may I suggest upgrading the camera you use to a DJI Osmo Pocket 2 or a GoPro Hero 11 to provide great image stabilization because the footage you have is jittery unstabilized.

I would like to have seen how obstructed their cabin was!

In the Solarium- does the pool have entry steps to walk down or do you have to climb ladders? Thanks
Just booked a 10 day cruise on this ship from Vancouver to Hawaii. First time ever cruising, thanks for the great video. Any tips?

Thanks for the feedback. I have a Gopro 10 but it doesn't do well in low light. Looking to upgrade to a new phone for in indoor shots.
modern is always better
Couldn’t see the shower
CLASSIC IS BETTER!
