The bandit Olgerd Vladislav ordered two of his men to chop down the cross on which the Cimmerian hung crucified. Each chop of the axe sent waves of pain into the Cimmerians brain. Then as the men pushed the cross off of its stump the Cimmerian knotted the muscles of his body to absorb the blow. The two men used pliers to pull the spikes out of Conan's ankles and wrists. With his hands freed, Conan seized the pliers and pulled the spikes from out of his ankles. Olgerd barked to the Cimmerian "Mount up on that horse over there some twenty paces and ride with us to camp. Let's see if you can live long enough for some water." - Robert E. Howard "A Witch Shall Be Born (1934)
Nothing beats the film version of this track with the vultures barking in the background. Great track to workout to especially when your doing planks or situps
Jim Dellaghelfa I’ve always considered this a more obscure track but the fact that it’s your favorite speaks volumes about the Conan soundtrack as a whole
I have been wondering ever since his passing - are there any musical ideas of his hidden away to be discovered and revealed to the world. I believe he was working on the score to King Conan, a movie by John Milius which never materialized. He HAD to have some ideas for a theme, etc... would be tremendous to hear them
Central Asia still exists.for further studies.baikonur is a new challenge for cosmonots training. Now cosmonots and in olden times taxashila University.
