I absolutely love Morricone. His music is breathtaking, hypnotic, and moving. So evocative of the West, wherever which West one talks about. It is, after all, a frame of mind.

I can't believe it took me forty years to come across this masterpiece of a movie. It was done in 1968. I ordered the movie and the soundtrack CD. This is a must have!

Its my favorite movie of all time and I could never really express why in raw emotional terms and you sir have done it in 5 words. Nice video too.

I was always amazed how Ennio could make such brilliant music using all kinds of instruments like the Harmonica, Ukulele and Electric Guitar to create greatness.
Some soundtracks instantly make a film recognisable.. Ennio makes a movie fit the song.. an extremely talented man who’s work will be appreciated for decades to come, a partnership with Sergio Leone was a team made in heaven but of all the scores in the westerns , ‘Harmonica’ is for me the greatest of them all.. it works on every level.. the whole movie, from the script to the music and the cast is just a masterpiece!
