I went to the soggy dollar on our honeymoon 27 years ago. Jumped in the water and swam into shore with a bag with 10 bucks. There were 2 boats and 1 shack with rum drinks and bbq. Otherwise totally empty. Now it's too crowded!
What I didn't realize is that the painkiller was invented on JVD using Cruzan Rum but then Pusser's Rum trademarked the painkiller's name and recipe, and later sued a bar named "painkiller" in NY for making painkillers w/rum other than Pusser's. This led many bartenders to boycott Pusser's Rum.
Looks like fun Bobby, Thanks for reminding us that white boys can't dance. Back in the U.S. I went through all my trailer tires and had a broken suspension when I got back to Yuma. Just glad to be back. Oh and the dog was really missing you guys. He came back almost everyday. Safe travels.
