Kabir Chabutra || Chhattisgarh ka ek khoobsoorat destination

Located a short distance away from the pilgrim town of Amarkantak lies the famous shrine for Saint Kabir, a very popular mystic poet and saint, called the Kabir Chabutra. Saint Kabir spent a lot of time at the very spot, lost in deep meditation and thought. It is the very place where he chanced to have an encounter with Guru Nanak, the founder and very first guru of Sikhism. One can only imagine the discussion that must have taken place between these two highly learned and spiritually superior saints. One interesting phenomenon that takes place at this location is that between 8 am to 10 am, people can see mysterious milky white strands spreading in the water. It is said that the River Narmada itself washes the feet of the great Saint till date!
